Who is Midoring and what is her connection to Ayu?
 

Well, I'm a pretty new fan compared to most people here so I'm not familiar with her dancers and her entourage and what not so... just who exactly is this Midoring? She's Ayu's dancer, right?

I searched to see if there were any threads about her and there weren't so maybe people who know a little more can like tell me about her? I'm not talking about her sexual orientation or any romantic links with Ayumi or anything but maybe a profile or a small biography of some sort? If there are any links in Japanese that you have that would be fine too.

Honestly I'm not completely sure that really anybody knows much about Midoring. She's been one of Ayumi's dancers for a very long time, and she appeared as the love interest in the GREEN pv if you didn't know.

If anyone else has any more information, I'd also like to know.

Yes, she is one of Ayu's dancers, the one she dances with in the GREEN PV. I don't know anything about her background, though. I'm sure someone here does.

Yep. She's been part of Ayu's dance entourage ever since Concert Tour 2000 Vol.2. The only reason she's so "big" and mentioned so often now is because of the GREEN PV, where she basically dressed like a man and got quite close and personal with Ayu. I recommend watching the GREEN PV and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I think it was just something out of the ordinary...the appearance of Ayu dancing with a woman even though she was meant to portray a man (who knows?). Definitely left an impression on me when I first saw it...it was more of a wtf reaction than anything else.

In concluding, she's just a dancer. I don't think there's anything remotely interesting that you need to know about her...just that Ayu might be crazy about her atm haha. Then again I'm also pretty new so I wouldn't know much about her. I'm just assuming.

They are without a doubt close friends if she's been with her since her first series of concerts.

That's pretty much all we know of Midoring; Ayu's dancer since Concert Tour 2000, appeared in the GREEN PV as a man and Ayu's love interest, and if Ayu were a man, she would date Midoring since she's her (Ayu's) type.

Midoring was also one of the dancers who practiced like mad for the tissue dance in AT 07, with another girl, but was cancelled cos Ayu thought they have not mastered the dance until they can be safe up there...

Hmm. Midoring also has long black hair? At least from what I've seen her.

Ah! So that was the other dancer's name! I have bad memories for the female dancers... I only know Midoring. And two pretty dancers... and one buck-toothed (sorta) who did the tissue dance in CDL 07-08 (I think), who's like super small and cute!

i think that Kayano and Aki are Ayu's best looking dancers.
