Good to see its gonna be arena tour...even though some fans at realayu wants another asia tour.

This is definitely confirmed. That's the chart that TeamAyu links to the fanclub members (I got the email a few hours ago)

So that means we'll have a new album prior to the tour? I hoped that Ayu would take a break from touring :(

I was kinda hoping there would be less dates this year considering how big and busy the 10th anniversary tour was. That way she can rest a bit more or focus on her new album. Oh well, thas Ayu!

I was hoping that this year's concerts would be a bit later, somewhere between July and September, or not take place at all, so that Ayu would rest a bit.
It is not totally excluded to see later on an extension to this schedule for Asia tour dates in autumn.

Since the first tour date is in April, the rehearsals are probably due to start after she returns from Hawaii.

Still hoping for a concert in Europe :)

As much as I'm sure fans in China, Korea, Taiwan would want another Asia tour, I kind of hope that this year she focuses more on music than touring.

Not sure if I'll be able to make the tour this year though. I'm already going to be in Japan for 2 weeks in February seeing Gackt, Namie, and the final Hello Project concert. If I really love the set list though, I might try for the yoyogi ones in June.

Tour kicks off in April, there's going to be hardly time to draw breath, let alone recover and rest. That anemia thing is no joke if she returns before she's ready.
Of course we know she'll be monitored but as soon as she feels she's ready, she'll find some way to start the ball rolling.

OMG ! it's really great ! i always think that Ayu has overacted recently since she had Asia tour in 2007 ! and now ! a new Arena tour 'll bring Ayu back like in 2006 .

Temporary title? Not that they'll add Asian dates, but if this is the final title, it'll be the first one not to be named something since ARENA TOUR 2003-2004. Maybe it won't be album themed and an album won't come out until during or after the tour?

The only difference is a couple of extra stops...

the above are all promotional tours to promote the album. But ARENA TOUR 2009 seems to be implying that there wouldnt be any album being released any soon.

WOW, it seems that I have not heard the "arena tour" for some time~XD, since the last tour was called "Asia Tour"~~

Anyway, hope that AYU can get more time to rest, looking forward to her performance^^

im very Shocked this news is out. Even before the announcement of ANY new singles or even the album.

And seems like this tour starts AFTER her 11th anniversary. Going by pattern...Ayu usually gives people 1 month to digest her album...
so March would most prob be the month.

There will be an album in March for sure. The tour can still change its name to ASIA TOUR.

the name might change later ^^ AT 2002 and 03-04 did promote I am.. and Memorial Address/RAINBOW albums and didn't have an album name in their titles. Let's not jump to conclusions.

that would be the best case scenario.. although the concert promoting a certain album need not bear the album's title.. (AT02 and AT03~04) but it looks weird without anything :P:P

anyway, i feel that having an ARENA TOUR 2009 seems to be a marketing strategy. it's like people usually want the things they don't get.. So having ASIA TOUR 2010 would be a good strategy after ARENA TOUR 2009.

Im moving to japan for studies this summer, and I planned to go June 27... But darn, if I go one week earlier I can catch the last AT09 show...

I guess you're right. I read somewhere that the cost of putting up a concert here in Singapore was so expensive that there were no takers. Coupled with the small size of the indoor stadium and island population, there's no way we can afford such a big scale production.

I wish we have a bigger venue, but we already have a white elephant of a stadium so its unlikely we will ever see Ayu on an Asian Tour in Singapore.

Otherwise what is it exactly that she's going to be promoting and singing in the tour? She's covered almost every album so far and this doesn't look like any special tour. Just plain "Arena Tour 2009". At least it starts in April though. She can have some nice rest for another two months before rehearsals start.

GOOD news, at least if she stays in Japan, it won't really make her exhausted. Going overseas need more extra energy (and money) than she should.

Yeah a lot of excitement too. All those fans greeting her at the airport and everywhere she goes in those foreign countries. I'm not sure if it's like this in Japan or if it's as intense as in Asia, but I think she can rest a little easier.

It's just...what else can this Arena Tour 2009 be about? She promoted GUILTY among many other songs in AT08 right? Lol. But an Arena Tour for '09 has been announced. You have to ask yourself what she's going on tour for. She already concluded her 10th anniversary...this is like a fresh new start now. What could she possibly be going on tour for. There's 2-3 months before the start of the tour but I think we can safely assume an album release.
