Also I have heard there was a very limited pressing with black disc (that´s why OV is black, OVs often have JV 1st press bonus as regual edition)

My Story
The CD+DVD 1st press came with 4 different Covers. Regual press has same cover as CD Only.
The earlier 1st presses also came with an error booklet as they made a mistake.

Also, where's Secret?

And last question, I don't get the multiple covers. For A BEST, for example. A BEST has 6 CDs? Or is the cover selected randomly from one of the 6? Same goes for A BALLADS, etc.

ov: overseas (avex asia/taiwan) version, jv: Japan version.

You should update it with Free & Easy and No way to say's first presses (Ayu on the CD for Free & Easy, Snowflake on the back of the CD Case for No way to say)

and then BLUE BIRD and Secret's first press were just posters.

I was refering to the white case, as the white case is only available with the 1st press.
The covers did not change at the 2nd pressing. the "cover" on the picture is just the error booklet that was put in front of the cover. You can see it on the Obi, it doesn´t match the picture.

It could be great if people could scan posters and covers in HQ, of course only to private print them if you want.
I have Days&GREEN poster (B3 size) and the "box" first press, if you want i'll trie to scan the poster and take a photo of the box.

this always bothered me, i need to know:

with A BEST, underneath the slipcase, did you get all the 6 displayed covers?
or did you get only one of them randomly? the same with MY STORY... elaborate please? :)

ayu-mi-x 4 Non-Stop and Acoustic Orchestra were also first press. They came with a colored back insert, regular press came with none (My friend has a regular press of NSMM which has an empty back insert, while mine is first press and came with a Yellow Back Insert)

dag, i didn` know the latest remix album came with a postcard too! mine came w the slipcase but no postcard (T-T. my RAINBOW came with a poster also, a horizontal poster. sadly though.. it`s lost somewhere in my parents` house (o_O;.

Yes though I think not many singles had a first press... only the newest ones seem to be having a first press or a TA special.

the different coloured versions for H, are they first press releases?

ayu-mi-x III AOV and NSMM also have 1st press. the first press have clear plastic case around the cd, and the 2nd press have none.

The tracklist, booklet and all is the same, it just don´t has the slipcase, it has an obi instead and only the "normal" cover

hehe this is cool thanks :D i actually just recently purchased the limited edition H digipack from Amazon.jp last summer ;) i was sooo surprised when I saw that they had it so I ordered it in a heartbeat! the total, including 2 magazines...cost $60...but i think this was the 2 magazines fault, due to the weight or whatever. haha! but yeah, i like this thread :D

Nope there is I have it! There was aslipcase for the first presses of Dome Tour 2001 and Countdown Live 2000-2001 DVD. Regular press and reissues just have OBIs.

Is the limited pics the error booklet? I mean, does the normal booklet have the same cover as every press, and the error booklet has a new one?

The CD+DVD Edition has 4 Limited Edition Covers. The Error Booklet is a SEPERATE sheet that was given out with the first press editions. Is it so hard to understand? It's just like with A BEST 2 ~white~.

^I get the feeling that Avex hasn't made any regular press versions yet =P. CDJapan still has First press versions available, and its been a month. Its not like Days/GREEN with a vertical slip case; Rule/Sparkle has just a CD difference.

Either that...or no one has brought any, since NL is already out, and everyone wants First Press versions only.

^Well...I have a China Press version of the box set...and it has the photobook...but I have a taiwan reg. press and it didnt have the book...and also I have a taiwan press of guilty and no photobook. So yeah. I gotta say, china press stuff is not known for its quality but in my opinion the photobook is very high quality and theres nothing making it stand out as china press...no chinese nothing. Just pictures as in the japan version. The CD's are crappy quality and the CD cases too. The cardboard box, I cant really say since i dont have the japan version.

I don't think that No way to say actually has a first press. I guess it's just rumors, as it looks like no one has it. To me, it looks like someone has putten a "transparent booklet", just as for Fly high single, in the cover, it doesn't look like it is on the real CD. But maybe it's what's meant by it? I don't know. I just say, no one does actually have it, and Japanese Princess says it doesn't have a first press. CDJapan doesn't say anything about it either (on the other site, CDJapan calls on of the songs "Voyag" :laugh). I think the rumors have only been in here in some months too..

I'm AYU's fan since her A BALLADS album and by all the time I follow carefully byall of her releases. I never heard before about "No way to say" 1st press. First info about it I got from other AHS thread where ppls wrote about 1st press which they have/wish to have. Most of them wanted "No way to say" 1st press. I don't know what to think about it. I tried to search for any info about this release at japanese websites but no results at all. I saw many various scans in the past from different websites and ppls - jpn and os versions, but there was nobody who would provide scans for this 1st press. It's hard to believe that no one of hardcore fans here wouldn't have this. Just strange.

It's difficult to say how many FP of NWTS were made. I don't think records were kept as well back then as they are now.

I would love NWTS FP, even my mum would (and she doesn't like my music!) as she loves snowflakes :P

It depends. Versions without obis and such so pretty cheap sometimes, but sealed versions are hard to find these days, they are even quiet expensice on yahoo.

the ayumix 2 cds can't be that limited in first press. I went to kinokuniya's the other day and I saw 2 of them in this really cool sparkly case. isn't that first press? why'd I see it in a store?O_O
