Pfffffff ...

I can't fly today, either.

In Los Angeles, Stan-chan and Luis await my arrival with the rest of the crew...

The crew is composed of the best technicians in New York or L.A
Such work... it's obvious that I want to do iiiit !

Whatever happens tomorrow, if I don't leave Japan, it's "time out."

Game over.

I'm motivated to go to Narita even if I don't have a ticket yet!

Do you want to join me in waiting for a cancellation? lol

Aaah!
No. 456 20-02-2009 12:48

I almost forgot! On the Panasonic website, as I told you some time ago, you may see the ads that I share with Pecoburi-sama and the dancers!

If there are those among you who have not seen it yet, I urge you to see it!

Yes...
No. 457 20-02-2009 20h49

...I'll go.

I'll go, but...

... my ticket ...

I got iiiiiiiiiiit ! ! ! ! !

Finally. To be more precise, of course it wasn't me who bought it.

It was in fact our Prince, who showed how imperative it was that I travel tomorrow.

And if I tell you how I'm going to go to L.A ...

First, I go from Narita to San Francisco.

And then from San Francisco to L.A we rented a private jet.

You know, I'm writing this with a nonchalant attitude...

but for many reasons, it's increeeeedible!

So I'll go?

I'll goooo ! ! ! ! !

Anyone over that other crappy guy... at least Pride had some good direction.

Lanz16 20th February 2009 07:46 PM

I like Luis Hernandez!
He also directed the Beautiful Fighters PV! :love

I wonder what her PV in U.S. looks like? :)

Thanks for the latest messages!

I thought BF was directed by the same guy who directed Rule..
Anyways B&D was a bad PV, Pride was good <3

SunshineSlayer 20th February 2009 08:00 PM

At least he is better than Kazuyoshi. But does anyone else find it weird that they are sending her all the way to LA to do a PV now of all times, even though she was just there? Its obvious the decision was very last minute, otherwise there shouldn't be a problem getting tickets for a flight.

Beautiful Fighters was a co-direction between Ishii and Hernandez.

love in music 20th February 2009 08:02 PM

oooh this is exciting! but kind of weird, i wasn't expecting that director..
but we'll see how it goes!

Coelacanth 20th February 2009 08:03 PM

I don't mind Luis, actually. You can tell the guy just told Ayu to "be herself" in B&D/Pride. I thought the acting was pretty natural, not any of that 'fierce' crap.

Ayumiko 20th February 2009 08:11 PM

ayu why u bring him back from the dead??!!...:(

Tom Punks 20th February 2009 08:19 PM

Even though at the time I thought B&D's PV was the biggest piece of crap ever, this is actually pretty exciting. :D It might turn out good or at least somewhat watchable!

Coelacanth 20th February 2009 08:21 PM

I've always been curious as to where the hell Avex found this Hernandez dude though. Like, I try looking him up on Google and I can't seem to find anything about the director. I mean, if they're gonna get an American director, why don't they at least get a better known one? Avex already spends ridiculous amounts of money on her PV's, why not go all out and get a director with some street cred? :shrug

ren0210989 20th February 2009 08:22 PM

cool, he is a decent director :D

dreamland2.0 20th February 2009 08:23 PM

Interesting! As long as she's not on a big truck singing throughout the streets of L.A. I'll be fine :)

ayumisrael 20th February 2009 08:24 PM

I'm pumped to see what he will do this time XD

GRACE 20th February 2009 08:26 PM

This could be very good or very bad, as Pride was very good and B&D was very strange

Chibi_Venus 20th February 2009 08:29 PM

I only wonder what these PVs will be like! :D Thank you!

Good point. I was wondering the same thing. "Wasn't she just in LA?" That's a lot of traveling within a few days. I mean, like, more than is usually already done. O_O

:yes :yes

ALfromHELLSING 20th February 2009 08:36 PM

I hope this time he'll show us what does it means when he's serious! I'll cross my fingers for the GREAT PV!!
~thnx for the messages!

Well I'm not surprised. Lately she seems to be doing everything at the very last minute so probably this was an idea which came at the spur of the moment. However since Stan is waiting makes me think that they planned to do it but didn't know when to do it.

Beauty4123 20th February 2009 09:23 PM

ayumi's choosing the directors that some people dislike, lol. again, here's to hoping it's a good PV.

Keiichi_JPU 20th February 2009 09:28 PM

I love B&D!

It's a very unique concept, I hope he'll make something unique again!

And Pride wasn't that bad either, like someone said at least it doesn't have to over-the-top acting and impossible lip-movements.

x-megumi-x 20th February 2009 09:29 PM

Eww, B&D/Pride PVs director :(
Hope this new PV will be good anyway...

tourniquet 20th February 2009 09:30 PM

oh, I can live with fernandez as director. Boooold and Beautiful Fighters were very entertaining. but avex might kill ayu if she doesn't hold her schedule. @_@"

njanjayrp 20th February 2009 09:49 PM

Well BoA worked with a famous American director and we all know what happen to that PV.. xD This guy did a good job with both Pride and BF ^^

emi♡ 20th February 2009 09:55 PM

anyone besides Shimoko.

I kinda liked the B&D/Pride videos...

I think B&D was perfect for the song...and it's fun. It's different...

Maybe we'll see more Ayu this time and not...you know...the whole entourage.

Yoake 20th February 2009 09:56 PM

I want to see her news pv!!!

thanks for sharing!

Beautiful fighters was such a good video. It fit the song so well.
However Pride and B&D werent so good.

Hopefully the song he directs is more upbeat..i cant stand him directing another ballad video.

PS>Does anyone know who directed my name's WOMEN?

Bigtop 20th February 2009 10:30 PM

Thanks for sharing! It appears she's flying JAL on the new suite before she flies on her private jet...

But not the American director again!? It appears that she loves America so much besides Japan...

emi♡ 20th February 2009 10:32 PM

cuz wataru got style lol

okay...what's up with all those baggy speedo things...ew :shakehead

Aisha_Angel 20th February 2009 10:35 PM

Pride would've been better if it actually HAD a storyline...as for Bold & Delicious...Well, there may not have been any food involved in it, but I think Hernandez really captured the essence of the actual SONG with the whole "riding on the back of a semi confidently-theme".

Other directors of some one Ayu's greatest PVs can't seem to capture that essence well to me. They just kind of contrast the overall message of the song and leave you confused as hell...A great example of this would be "ladies night"...It's a good PV but with the exception of a few scenes that actually connect to the lyrics of the song, the rest of the video just doesn't enhance the overall theme Ayu was trying to convey in the song. It actually seemed to me like the exact opposite...And what about videos like "INSPIRE"? What the hell did that song have to do with ANY of the lyrics?

Of course someone could argue that the ending of the video was just the signature "Ayu-twist" of things but...meh that's an argument for another day.

Linza-mo 20th February 2009 10:38 PM

Great pics ! Thanks maxker ! ^^

PS : First Pics on Ayu.no were taken on Hawaii I think! '_'

Blasterion 20th February 2009 10:42 PM

I'm sure this will be a fun PV
cute pants btw ^^

And wow private jet :D now Ayu will be reunited with the luggage she left behind ^^

and I wanted to wait with Ayu at Narita...;)

thanks for the translation!

Bigtop 20th February 2009 11:04 PM

I think Ayu has got to be safe when flying out of Narita, because recently on February 20th a Northwest Airlines 747-400 just went for a bumpy landing and caused around 50 people to get injured... (see http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/...HdC2QD96FBNV01 for AP article regarding on the incident)

Hopefully Ayu and her other passengers on her flight stay safe and does not get any aviation-and-weather-related injuries during her journey...

duque 20th February 2009 11:07 PM

bleh B&D/Pride PVs director....well ill try and keep some kind of hope for a good pv

BoBo 20th February 2009 11:12 PM

i think all of you are being to sceptical about the director...

so true :)

I actually like the pv's that he directed. I am excited!

gogirlanime 20th February 2009 11:50 PM

I have more faith in this director than the other one because I decently liked BD/Pride. But yeah, two crappy directors boo.

her pajamas? so cute

Aozora 21st February 2009 12:08 AM

It's something different. That's what I've been wanting from Ayu for forever. Something different than the past "fierce" stuff she has been doing. It's getting old. NEXT LEVEL was a great refreshing change. I almost hope that Kazuyoshi is directing a PV for NEXT LEVEL (the song). He sucks at PVs for "fierce" songs but I think he'd be amazing at a calmer more soothing song.

As for this director, B&D isn't my favorite song but it was something unique. I hope this is the same way. I like uniqueness. I'm hoping NEXT LEVEL will be more varied in terms of genre than GUILTY was. She just better not be wearing that outfit from the picture in the PV :x.

Kazeyomi 21st February 2009 12:16 AM

In the PV she cross L.A. on a truck? :innocent

lol

Ayumiko 21st February 2009 12:23 AM

I'm guessing ayu already finished filming the pv in tokyo? that was fast. Well...I don't have high expectation for that pv...hopefully this one will be better.

^ so cuteee Hello Kitty pajama :D thanx for the pics (everybody loves Hawaii) & translations guys !!

so does anyone know what happened in Narita to allow cancellation of flights? who's that "Prince" got one flight ticket for her? i like Luis Hernandez PV's, he's a good director, he allows to show us a more real ayu (^__^)

Lee^ChaN 21st February 2009 12:40 AM

OMG, please not B&D type of PV again...

se7entheaven 21st February 2009 12:51 AM

I saw Zin and else..think that this is gonna be a dance video or wat again. I cant imagine ayu's posing around LA Street again with her diva attitude and suddenly dance LOL

Luther10 21st February 2009 12:51 AM

We missed each other in San Francisco, dang!!!
Anyway, will there be one more pv? Let's hope she'll do it in Africa... :)

hiroshi_ben 21st February 2009 01:00 AM

i think i can expect a not so good PVs this time round...sighh

anyway it seems like all the avex artists have bad PVs recently

RikkuChii 21st February 2009 01:20 AM

*Sigh* At some point, Ayu was 40 minutes away from me?!

Ouch...that hurts.

TeeMo 21st February 2009 01:43 AM

Ayu's going to shoot a new PV in L.A.????? I'm looking forward of it.

extepan 21st February 2009 01:44 AM

thanks for the translation. i dont like the luis guy's pv.

jamester 21st February 2009 01:58 AM

OMG... That Luiz guy again... I wish I never saw PV directed by him anymore. B&D is such sooo... bad!! And Pride has no meaning though. BF? Not really....

(I wonder why I never see great PV of Ayu since HEAVEN.... ~sad~)

LOL that is really shocking. I wish only the hat was part of the PV.

The fact that its Luis Ferdanez could probably mean a rather western song??? B&D/Pride and BF were rather western to me. even though they retained the Ayu-style.
Haiz...i don't noe...Im feeling disappointed. I really wonder if Ayu has any thoughts about her PV..she can direct them herself couldnt she??? It's what she sees IN the song...the image it gives her..no?
Yea, probably easier said than done.

TITANIC 21st February 2009 02:31 AM

I like luiz hernandez..

douggn 21st February 2009 02:33 AM

not that director and another american pv :( I don't mind bold & delious and pride but the pvs are a different story, but that's just me, im not a huge fan of the american look

freedreamer 21st February 2009 02:52 AM

^if she goes all the way to L.A....then she WILL do an outdoor PV right??? or not?

jimex289 21st February 2009 02:59 AM

Beautiful Fighters was OK. I didn't really like Pride. Bold & Delicious wasn't even a PV...it was more like they used the making of as the PV.

maneayu 21st February 2009 03:00 AM

hey!!! but wait a minute!! Nobody went to San Francisco Airport to say hi to Ayu???? HOW COME!!!

darc_aqua 21st February 2009 03:07 AM

O my, these PVs will be very ..interesting

LacusClyne 21st February 2009 03:37 AM

oh i see, think i beter don't put my hopes up for this pv then, i don't wana get hyped up and ending dissappointed

mcluva420 21st February 2009 04:51 AM

Most likely yes. It doesn't make sense to go overseas just to shoot in a studio which they could do in Japan.

Handjan 21st February 2009 05:05 AM

Thanks for translation.
I like Pride PV and hope that new PV will be better.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 21st February 2009 05:10 AM

i dont like the song bold & delicious but the pvs are great! :D

looking forward this new pv as well!!!!!!!!! *0*

pommy48 21st February 2009 05:26 AM

i liked B&D and Pride....just hope it'll be more artistic

Luther10 21st February 2009 05:40 AM

B&D pv was a copy of Bjork's Big Time Sensuality pv, so that's not good. I really like the side stories version though, did the same guy direct them both.

Purple Neko 21st February 2009 05:45 AM

I actually liked both B&D/Pride PVs so this should be awesome ^^

mlkrepublic 21st February 2009 06:14 AM

if anyone knows WHERE ayu will be shooting the PV, LEMME KNOW!!! i'll run out rite away!

mangoo_x3 21st February 2009 06:17 AM

WAITTTTTTTTTTTTT!?!?!? SO SHE IS STAYING IN SAN FRANCISCO OR JUST STOPPING BY?!??!?

CAUSE IF SHE IS STAYING FOR AWHILE, I'LL PROBABLY TRY TO FIND HER! LOL I BET IT WOULD BE IN SHOPPING MALLS.

rakeru 21st February 2009 06:20 AM

hmmm... not sure how to feel about Hernandez. i found B&D and Pride a bit boring, but still ok. hopefully he'll redeem himself.

KarenPang 21st February 2009 06:27 AM

thanks for the updates , I hope the new PV wouldn't be something that's questionable

Alien 21st February 2009 07:18 AM

so the two new pv will respective handed to the worst directors in the pv-history...

i just can wait and see...

shineestar 21st February 2009 07:19 AM

haha everyone dislikes the directors shes picking. XD
these new PV's will be an interesting watch.

HanabiChick 21st February 2009 10:02 AM

Well, he's not as bad as the 'photographer', hopefully it will be an improvement on some of the PVs we've already had for the album :)

Qt Mashi 21st February 2009 11:36 AM

lol, you are so right! the 2 crappiest directors for her 2 new pvs....

Tony G 21st February 2009 11:37 AM

I'm a bit scared to see another PV directed by this guy, but it could be good. Just needs more than some scenery and ayu.

waterballoon 21st February 2009 12:32 PM

Thank you!

Yeah, I guess ANY director other than Kazouyashi would rock. I actually really liked Bold & Delicious and Pride's PVs. Beautiful Fighters was so adorable too!

relmy 21st February 2009 01:05 PM

Thank you! I loved the Bold & Delicious PV, so hopefully I'll love this PV too! Pride was nice too, the little scrolling thing with her name on! <3 Hopefully it'll have nice little details like that again.

*JOEY* 21st February 2009 01:28 PM

What I dislike most in B&D PV is her hair!
Someone should kill the hair stylist.......
and also the clothing.....ill......

yoshino 21st February 2009 01:33 PM

oh no.. I wld not like to see him direct the same kind of style like he did for B&D.. OH NO!!

idc either way, I like B&D and BF PVs <3

Then again I like the other guy too so whatever.

I'm sure that Next Level will have some really interesting PVs! ^_^
