Ok quite a random poll, but anyway :laugh
Both Utada and Beyoncé have made a song about wanting to be a guy.
So which song is the best? Make your choice based on the music or lyrics, not the MV's.

Utada - You Make Me Want To Be A Man
This song is about not being able to understand a guy (her former husband?) and him not being able to express his feelings to her. Therefore, Utada wants to be a man in order to communicate with him properly.
The music is quite experimental, dance-ish.

Beyoncé - If I Were A Boy
In this song, Beyoncé tells the world how much easier life would be if she were a guy, or how she would or wouldn't treat a woman. Basically the same theme: she doesn't understand why her man treats her the way he does.
This is a nice R&B ballad.

Make your choice :) I voted Utada because I simply LOVE the song! Halo would've won this poll for me, but If I Were A Boy is too generic for my taste.

Hikki. That song was ahead of it's time in my opinion.

Beyonce hands down.

Both are good songs, but nothing can beat YMMWTBAM live. The rhythms are so powerful; even while listening to the audio rip you can feel them reverberating in your heart. It's absolutely amazing.

So yes, that gets my vote.

Beyonce. You Make Me Wanna Be A Man is the kind of song that I normally would like, the beat is so sick, but with Utada's singing, something throws it off...

^ I totally agree. This song was just not for her vocals. It doesn't suit it :S ~!

Beyonce's song though is amazing <3 I really like the meaning to it (although I find it weird cuz I'm a guy and she kinda bashes guys LOL) but it was really well done : ) ~! I never realized Beyonce was like AMAZING AMAZING at singing until I heard this song lol.

I feel exactly the same way, that live performance in Utada United of Kremlin Dusk + YMMWTBAM is AWESOME, extremely powerful, you can feel the beat in your entire body.

the first songs starts kinda slow but the climax + bridge to YMMWTBAM is pure love.
