Ayu in German TV-show "TV Total" from 2002
... unfortunately not in person :P
So everybody is sharing their random Ayu-finds and so I thought I'd do the same: :D http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/4112/ayuraab.jpg "TV Total" is a German comedy/late night show hosted by Stefan Raab. The title of this particular video is "Raab in Gefahr - Tokio" which means "Raab in danger - Tokyo". So in 2002 they had a special about the Soccer World Cup in Japan/South Korea and so the host was sent to Tokyo where he made fun of the Japanese. In Akihabara he found that girl standing in front of a store promoting TU-KA with Ayu's commercial in her hand and stole her micro to do some beatbox. The whole video was quite funny, especially because everybody in Germany apparently thinks that the Japanese are fluent in English. XD You can find the video HERE (I hope there are no country restrictions). It's a special website where you can vote for the funniest videos, because the show is celebrating its 10th anniversary (just like Ayu :)). |
Haha, that's pretty cool!
|
That is really cool!!^^
too bad you couldn't see it in person :( I saw the Mirrorcle World Poster ( that is on the tour of Shibuya 109) on TV two weeks ago I was watching a french show and the girl went to Japan I wasn't fast enough to take a picture :weep. I have one but there's a guy just in front of the poster :grumpy I was so angry |
^aw, I would be mad too!
that's cool though ayu is visible anywhere nowadays |

I totaly dislike Stefan Raab... I never saw that clip befor.
I Never knew, someone from Pokito talked about Ayu.... maybee... because I don't watch it. (^_^) |
|
/ZOMFG!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you kitty :D i never looke it up on youtube, because i failed at finding it at the official pokito site lol :P anyways thank you again =D |
You're welcome, hehe^^ and by the way your spelling of engelsgleiche wasn't wrong ;) just like noidea said, the first letter has to be small :)
|
^ Thanks, Kitty!
This is really surprising. Pokito is indeed not well-known for high quality TV, but that little J-music part was quite well done. :) |
I remember that ayus name was mentioned in one of my favorite Finnish TV programs :D There is this young actress who is a ''japan fan'' in this TV show and she had just bought ayus CD and she said that ayu is good or something :D
omg sorry my English is terrible now... it's 1am here so sorry :tired |

It's funny how they spell ayus name^^ |
It's good to be in German at that time. I think, in my country, there's never have a talk about Ayu or J-music in TV. It's pretty sad.

Well, it's nothing happening often in germany...I remember 1 show about japanese music where the host said Visual Kei is a genre with singers that dress themselves up as comic figures o.0 so...theres not much talk about it in germany and IF theres talk about it its often wrong or simply bad, many people dont even know japan has a music industry it seems o.0 but at the same time theres bands like The GazettE getting 4000 or 5000 people to their germany concert |
WHAT????
Stefan Raab was in Tokyo?? DAMN >_< I didn't know it T_T but it's cool XDDD |
Haha, I've seen this before, but never noticed Ayu. xD
