Aren't Shuya within the new tour?

I don't remember where I read it, probably a TA message, but I think I remember that Shuya isn't going to the new tour. Right now, I read someone who said that he cried under the last concert of the At 2008. Maybe because he allready knew?

Is he going to the new tour or not?

noidea 16th March 2009 04:51 PM

She mentioned his name in her message, but i think she used some kind of nicname for him, shu-chan or something + we saw him in this rehearsal pics, right? but there was one male dancer that left her team, i just forgot who...Rjoyi or somebody...

lfe. 16th March 2009 06:11 PM

Is there confirmation that Ryoji left the team??? I really hope he didn't leave, Ryoji is awesome :irked

waterballoon 16th March 2009 06:29 PM

Whoa, Pink you gotta elaborate more!!! I doubt Shu-ya is leaving... but yeah sad for Ryoji~

noidea 16th March 2009 06:41 PM

waterballoon, if youre basing your post on my post, im not sure if its Ryoji whos leaving, could be subaru, too, i only remember theres only 5 "old" male dancers left and in PCDL and AT08 she had 6(Maro, Subaru, Go-Mi, Shu-ya, Ryoji, Zin)

lfe. 16th March 2009 06:43 PM

I think what Pink is talking about is one of the TA messages that listed all the staff participants in the upcoming AT09. Maj was talking to me about this. Shuya wasn't listed but there was a nicknamed under dancers as Schuchi or something like that. Hes probably in the tour since we just saw him in recent rehearsal pics.

But we need confirmation about Ryoji! He cannot leave!!! Ryoji leaving is worse than Mitsu, Naoto, and Hyde combined leaving!!!

*edit
Subaru is still there too. He was in the rehearsal pics

waterballoon 16th March 2009 06:47 PM

I remember reading Ryoji leaving in a TA message... and whoa where's that TA message that doesn't 'Shu-ya' listed in the credits lists? But apparently 'Shuchhi' or 'Shu-chan' could be a nod to Shu-ya himself... so most likely, he wouldn't be leaving in many years to come.

noidea 16th March 2009 06:49 PM

Well, we still have 3 new male dancers and at least 3 new female dancers(depends on if she counts herself as female dancer, because she usually has the same amount of male and female dancers, sometimes with her acting as female dancer)

lfe. 16th March 2009 07:01 PM

If the translations are correct, it is only 3 new male dancers.

Aw DAMNIT! No Ryoji :rambo. He was recently in the Rule PV too, les hope its just a temporary leave! Maybe his health wasn't good and he couldn't feel he could commit to the whole tour :yes

she just hasnt talked about female dancers, but 8 male and 4 female dancers would be VERY weird, she always had it balanced around 50:50

lfe. 16th March 2009 07:17 PM

What would be weirder is if she says there are going to be 3 new male dancers and keeps new female dancers as a surprise. AT08 had 6 males and 4 females, that isn't really 50:50

noidea 16th March 2009 08:19 PM

if you count ayu as female dancer(she seems to count herself as one and an uneven amount of female dancers(including her) is perfect for ayu to stand out) its near to it + she had kaeru, though she only did tissue

lfe. 16th March 2009 08:36 PM

If you are going to count ayu and kaeru, then you should count them in the other scenario also. It would be 8 male and 6 female. That would be "near to it"

I wouldnt be surprised if its just Chisa, Midoring, Aki, and Kayanochi. The only time she hired new female dancers was Becky and Kimiko, and they didn't last long. Other than that, shes never hired new female dancers.

noidea 16th March 2009 09:06 PM

It seems they really didnt last long....i never heard their names before o.0

lfe. 16th March 2009 10:22 PM

They were there for a-nation 07 and CDL 07-08 so yea, wasnt that long.

kendelle 16th March 2009 11:59 PM

I hope Ryoji comes back, he's the funniest of all the dancers - he's really good at overacting, which is perfect for a big stage <3

majrakun 17th March 2009 06:28 AM

Shuya's in, Ryoji isn't :weep I love hiiim )= I'm gonna miss him singing to NEVER EVER during the PCDL encore. Haha, I guess he quit to pursue his singing career XD

"Negai ga kanau nara~"

Yes I remember that post. I was about to head out and paint the town red when I didn't come across Shu-ya's name on the list at first. Too bad, guess my self imposed ban on buying anything with Shu-ya in it continues.
Thank god he's not singing on the next level album.

mikecavs11 18th March 2009 03:29 AM

i wish she kept the same dancers and didnt add new ones, cuz i felt that they had great chemistry

Great chemistry's fine, but I wish she'd rotate the dancers more. I understand not everyone's dancing skills are at the same level but if we see the same people doing the same roles every tour, it becomes less of a reason to watch.

I always enjoy watching what a new dancer adds to Ayu's shows or how different existing dancers step up and perform new choreography. Unfortunately I feel we're seeing less of this and more of only-this-guy-can-perform-solo, these-people-do- background, she-dances-fast-numbers etc.

Maybe there are too many "specialist" dancers around ?

chloeM 18th March 2009 12:56 PM

Ryoji's leaving? well, all i hope is that Subaru and Shu-ya and Gomi arent leaving...

jinryuu 20th March 2009 09:26 PM

Recently I have grown to love Maroka a lot, I hope he is staying with Ayu for a long time ^^. (Especially during Decision he was amazing >_>)

My favourite is Zin/Jin actually, so I hope he is never leaving.

Ayumiko 21st March 2009 01:01 AM

Atleast Maro is still around :D...he was so good in pcdl.

Hydeki 21st March 2009 10:39 AM

Hm.... I'd prefer that Subaru is the person who leaves... I don't like him at all...

alternarist 21st March 2009 11:35 AM

well, although i dont really have an impression on Ryoji, i wonder why he is leaving.

1) ayu didnt treat him well enough?
2) he cant bear the stress of being ayu's dancers?

I also wonder why Kiriko and Becky left. :P

anyway, 3 new male dancers? wouldnt that make the ratio of male to female dancers be kinda big??

Imagining Marionette having 8 male dancers surrounding her. :P

Are these 3 male dancers the 3 that appeared on PCDL encore?

noidea 21st March 2009 08:45 PM

what? dancers in pcdl encore? i didnt see new ones

majrakun 21st March 2009 10:13 PM

They were introduced as the "Dancers Support", and only appeared after being introduced in MY ALL. It's possible that it's them since there are three, after all.

noidea 22nd March 2009 12:35 PM

but i think she wrote of a casting she did after the pcdl right?
