Do you think ayu looks prettier from time to time?
 

I think so. Especially seeing her in the recent Rule performance and talks. I think from year to year ayu's showing her 'real' lady/diva look. So glam and just screams 'I am ayumi hamasaki'. ^^
I guess she looks fabulous

^I love L. Yeah i think she looks prettier at certain times. AT08 was definitely a very pretty time for me. She also looks great for Rule. I always find her better looking with long hair, especially when it's curled A Ballads style.

I agree, like with anyone, your appearance, and the style you adopt an any give time will vary how attractive you look (to different people).***
Personally, I think Ayu looked her prettiest during the Secret period, but she also looked stunning when she made the video for Game, but not so much on the cover of My Story.

I think it`s all down to how she is styled at the time.

Love her looks around the era TO BE, End roll, Boys & Girls..she's really very pretty during that time~ Then I also love her barbie doll looks (extreme cute!) from appears onwards, SEASONS, Far Away, M. I also like the era of evolution and A BEST~

For me I love her older looks..but her new looks are really diva as u mention!~

I think she worked out since the release of secret (Remember her shamu arms after her vacation in the US ;) ) I think she looks really fit, dazzeling at the momemnt.

she gets prettier consistently, year by year, i think, b/c every year i think she keeps looking her best. i think she looked the least good looking and alien in her I am... to Rainbow era. maybe it was the make or w/e, i didn't like the way she looked then.

I don't really think she looks prettier. In fact, her eyes are looking weirder and weirder. she was prettier when she was younger. I think it's because of the way she was styled, her makeup and her hair color. Everything looked better back then. Also, I think Ayu is getting less and less photogenic over the years. Maybe that's because of her new look? Anyway. Ayu looks amazing in her diary/blog photos. Great style also. But that's pretty much it. I don't find her striking in her photoshoots. :shrug

I think Ayu is getting prettier over the years. I have always thought she was beautiful, but now, she just looks better...imo. Of course there are times when I would see a picture and go...eww, is that REALLY Ayu? Or, what was she thinking? But for the most part she looks gorgeous!

shes 30 years old(i think thats ryt ha) man my goal is look great like her at that age hehe. she looks awesome. altho i loved her style 2001 period, especially the really pale look with peachy blush. very pretty ^^

Of coarse Ayu would look prettier from time to time. If you compare her in two different periods, one of those times Ayu will look prettier than the other one. ^_^ And there will be two groups of people who would like one over the other.

i think she looks prettier now than she ever has, but that's mostly because i have hated almost all of her past hairstyles. the one she had for 2008 was the best.

Her haircut now is HORRIBLE. But I liked how they straightened it for the RULE performance. She looked good there.

i couldn't get over how pretty she looked at PCDL. i don't mean this in a rude way but i think she looks prettier when she's skinnier. when she puts on pounds you can tell that her face gets chubbier and while she still looks cute it's less appealing imo

AYU looks prettier than she ever has. like i have seen someone said on another website. "like a fine wine AYU gets better in age" how can AYUMI get younger and younger every day??? :P i wish i had some of her magic potion! j/k

I've always thought Ayu looked best in the period between A-nation 02 and the limited TA Live Tour in 03. The latter concert was in my opinion, her best performing concert.
Minimum dancers and backup singers, just Ayu, her band and the crowd rocking the place down to her performance.

Same here, I've always considered her cute and caring on the inside while elegantly appealing on her natural outside since just saying "pretty" is too dull and not expressive enough. Ok, I know that's not what you meant. :D

Hmmm, Ayu just looks better sometimes when she's a certain figure and with a certain haircut and makeup that suits her. Ayu definitely looks better when she's not too chubby but not too thin. Like during the 2001-2002 era... I think it was when she had that short evolution hair, she was REALLY thin in some of her performances. I almost thought she was going to snap in half! But then during Ayu's t2m performances... I think it's cos' the extra weight makes her face shape go rounder or something. I think she looks more elegant without it.

There are just instances where she might look prettier than others. XD

I cant say that Ayu looked better when she was younger or older. Cuz she is growing. I wouldnt ever say if I looked better for 5 years or now. Cuz you will always change in your look and such.

According to her age, I think she always looks stunning. When she was younger she looked more childish, natural and fresh. Now she looks mature, stunning and pretty. :)

mmmh..i think she gets always more beautiful but in an adult way.
Now she is and maybe she feels herself a real diva, a rich woman who gained her success with her talent, intelligence and beauty.
I think she is more conscious of that.
She is adorable, always changing her look and styles, always researching something new and glamorous. Anyway i prefer her Rainbow/A Ballads era..she were more natural.
Now i feel in her something artificial i cannot explain.
Maybe now she is more mature and confident and she lost her "naive" sense

She has charisma :yes and I prefer charisma than beauty.
Charisma don't disappear during ages :D

Well, Ayu is a gorgeous woman to me.

Of course, there were moments where I think she looks really fugly like during her evolution days... bad hair and a stick-thin body... gosh.

To me, her best 'short-hair' period was the CDL 07-08... it looks really cute!

And whenever she has long hair, she looks elegant and gorgeous.

Oh yeah, her current hair in NEXT LEVEL PV is pretty gross as well... and the 'Ayumi Hamasaki Republic' hair... omg.

haha, i just dont like big eyes, and especially when someone's trying too hard to be something she's not. i like her music very much, but i never used her image as a poster or something. im sure poster of her would freak me out everytime i see it. and i think she's not good rolemodel to asian girls, in my opinion natural asian eyes are so beautiful, and when i see girls trying SO HARD to have BIG eyes is so sad.

^ To be honest though, although it's stereotypical for east asians to have smaller eyes, a lot of us still have big eyes. 0_o Ayu is one of those people.

yes, she is, i cant deny that (considering her early pictures) but you cant tell me that she doesnt expand (i dont know the right word in english, so i will explain cuz expand may be the wrong word, trying hard to make your eyes look bigger, not with make up, pulling them out and make them all BIG and SCARY) them in a lot of her pics.

she's mostly very skinny, even now she's lost some weight and i don't like it too much.

at first i didn't think she's really THAT pretty. sure she was good looking good, but nothing too special.

For me, Ayu looks cuter to prettier. She back several years is really cute. then she transformed to be a diva looks. I love all her looks in the mean time.

Her prettiest era was from 2006 up till now. Blonde she is beautiful, but with black hair she is STUNNING!! and the curly dark brown hair of miss understood was her best style ever, imo.

She always looks pretty, but I like her more with dark hair rather than blond. I was so happy to see the Sparkle PV, reminds me of the good old times when she was using her natural hair color more. :D It must be a next level for her hairstyle too, because blond doesn't look that good anymore....
