NEXT LEVEL charting on Taiwan
 

NEXT LEVEL (新起步) won the #2 spot in Taiwan this week. It was surpassed by Ayu fan's new album: Butterfly Jolin by Jolin Tsai, being the best-selling japanese release of the week.

I agree since its a Taiwan chart. #1 on the Japanese/korea chart and #2 overall is very good already. :)

About the pass ranking of previous albums, they all got #1 on the Japanese/korea chart but not overall chart.

The korean/Japan market is, without doubt, smaller than the chinese music industry in taiwan and thus the #2 in combo charts and the percentage difference in the charts (33.9% in j/k charts and 5% in combo)

It is already considered a feat if ayu albums have a high percentage in the j/k charts.

Some might be interested in this:

A BEST 2 -WHITE- 24.66%

A BEST 2 -WHITE- took the #1 spot on the first week then A BEST 2 -BLACK- took the #1 spot the second week...and WHITE took the #1 spot after that on the third week...so in the end A BEST 2 topped the charts for 5 weeks

it used to be EMI who did that but not anymore

I really like Butterfly, and since it's a Taiwan release I'm sure it will sell better in its country of origin :) Ayu might clinch no1 next week, who knows?
