FictionJunction Yuuka is a project of Yuki Kajiura but she isn't in the Kalafina band. (It's Keiko and Wakana who are in this band) I think!


It'll be good. Her last release was in December.

Oh ok, I see. I think I got confused, because of all the different names they were under: Fiction Junction / See-Saw, and some other names as well.

Maybe you shoudl make a Yuki Kajiura thread? I didn't know if there is one on her!

By the way, I've always thought she is the "Japanese version" for Avril Lavigne.

Aya's first Avex single debuted at No. 8 on Oricon with 23144 copies sold. This is her highest sale numbers since her Ginza debut, ピエロ (PIERO). It is also her highest charting single so far! Lucky with that tie-up? Since... There hasn't been any lives, right?

Anyway, the covers to her new albums are out... (you can check them on her webpage).

The Greatest Best cover is BEAUTIFUL! The Individual Emotion cover is kinda nice.
But... The Individual Emotion+10 fan songs cover is... Just plain ugly. Oh... My... God. O_o

She is SO good-looking, and it seems as though they did their best to make her look ugly. -_-

According to Oricon, she was No. 14 monthly for November with 34330 copies sold of W-B-X ~W-boiled Extreme~. It says 37222 copies sold at wikipeida, but there are no references, but that is probably someone who collected all the sales data. Either number, this is her second highest selling single ever, behind her single "ピエロ" (piero).

Let's hope she'll do as good or better in the future! Especially considering it was only a downwards spiral from PIERO last time.

Can't say the Fan Best are my favourites, but kinda cool that it includes B-sides. =D

Anyway, I LOVE the sound she has going in this album. The only thing is, a lot of the songs lack something special to distinguish them from the others, and to make them hits. But after a few listens of the full versions, I have a feeling I'll really like some of them. And either way, this is a lot better than some of her earlier stuff. I think this will be one of her best albums to date.

Wow....I never heard of her (but I just came in this thread randomly and saw the PV)...she sounds really good but her looks/music remind me a lot of Avril Lavigne for some reason 0_o Or is it just me...

She's unofficially known as the Japanese Avril Lavigne, hah.... And personally, though I've never actually read it or anything, I think Lavigne is one of her inspirations or something, because aside from the style, I've seen her do one or two (can't remember >.>') Avril Lavigne songs live. So yeah. You're not the only one, hah. :P

I am so annoyed that the album haven't leaked yet, gah!

Anyways, Aya debuted at No. 13 with INDIVIDUAL EMOTION and No. 14 with Greatest Best. Let's hope they'll get at least top 15 weeklies. ^^
