NEXT LEVEL stinks.
 

No seriously, it literally stinks. My copy of next level smells horrible. Does anyone elses copies stink too? I bought it brand new.

Lol btw, this isn't me saying the album stinks. I very much enjoy it. But the packaging smells bad o_O

My USB copy of NL smells terrible but the CD-only does not.

I have the CD+DVD Korean press. The CD part smelled a little weird but the DVD part there was no smell. XD

it really does, it's not the usual new smell either.. the inside and the booklet are like really gross smelling. the outside is fine, but once you open it up.. x_x

and it doesn't stink! it smells like every cd I have of ayu XD

My dad noticed the USB packaging smelled a bit funny. He opened it before me ;_;

My USB case smells a but but the 2CD+DVD is fine.

I think it's the black foamy stuff, it's a bit smelly o__O

It smells like new plastic. Compared to her other CDs, it does smell... =/ Maybe because it's a pink CD case instead of clear?

Are you talking about the USB CD case? Because yes, the foam they use in it to keep the USB still DOES smell bad.

Great... I'm still waiting for my copy of NL USB to arrive. Looks like i get to look forward to pungent plastic, smelly songs, and malodorous music. lol. I knew that Thesaurus would come in handy someday!

All the Japanese CD's I've had smells funny! And now the deji deji smells the same too! I really think it's the Japanese paper or the ink! Because if you sniff the booklet it has very weird scent, like the deji deji diary.

I only have one CD that stinks and that's Utada's Exodus (USA press), the booklet smells the worst :thud

HAHAHA there are a lot of funny posts today. I must say, I have never had any problems with my overseas CDs smelling. this is just HILARIOUS. what exactly does the smell remind you of?

OK, so now that I've gotten my copy of NL USB, it does smell. I think it is the foam. It smells like car tires. Y'know that smell when you walk through the tire section of a car repair shop? Its kinda like that, but not entirely. *cough* *hack* I was trying to smell it more so I could describe it better. I can feel the brain cells dying.

This is unrelated to NEXT LEVEL smelling but... a few years back when I bought Utada Hikaru's "Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro" single it reaked and it had this odd film all over the back of the CD. :S
