Japan's A-Nation Touring Fest Returns
April 30, 2009 - Global | Touring | Rock and Pop

The a-nation festival of Avex artists is set to embark on a summer tour of Japan for the eighth time.

J-pop chart-toppers Ayumi Hamasaki and Kumi Koda will once again headline the line-up, which will also include TRF, Every Little Thing, Do As Infinity, Ai Otsuka, AAA, Girl Next Door, Ami Suzuki, Touhou Shinki and others.

The festival is produced by Avex Live Creative, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Avex Group. It will hold eight shows throughout Japan in August, including two in Tokyo and two in Osaka at stadiums with capacities of 50,000.

The major confectionary company Morinaga is once again the title sponsor, with their Winta in Jelly drinkable jello product included in the official festival name.

Lawson convenience stores will also participate as a sponsor and the tickets will be available at their stores, as well all nationwide ticketsellers. They go on sale May 8.

Avex projects total attendance for the eight shows to be between 200,000-250,000.

where do people get their sales and charts?

For example...If I wanted to see how much only Driving Hit's sold everyday the first week and it's positions every week...do they have charts for that only?

Or do I have to go through the large charts where they list everything?

that pink outfit she was wearing was probably one of many encore outfits. in the Kingdom tour she had like 4 or 5 that she wore, they showed the ending of the "WHERE'S KUU-CHAN" segment on the second disc and it showed all of them. the one she wore in the recorded one was the ugliest by far, the rest were like normal. :laugh

I love or like pretty much every song on TRICK, except Ai no Kotoba, Joyful and That ain't cool. These 3 are my least favourite, I hardly listen to them.
The best are Introduction, TABOO and Hurrry up! for me.
And Show Girl is one of my favourite Kuu PVs, too! :yes
TRICK is just an awesome album.

Her live ballads are amazingness.

She deserves so much more credit.

you know, i think people are very critical of her ballads but every single ballad she has put out has be absolutely gorgeous and shows off her vocal ability because, let's be honest, Kuu can definitely sing. Yes, they may sometimes sound a tiny bit generic but that definitely doesnt take away from the beauty of them.

I think a lot of her ballads get a lot of crap :(

some of my favorites are Ai no Uta, stay with me and Moon Crying and all of them were labeled "generic" or "boring" and I couldn't disagree more. it makes me sad because we all know how much Kuu loves her ballads :)

^She does have her strong points with her ballads like Ai No Uta, Kiseki, Hands, You, Taisetsu Na Kimi E...but then there are those songs which I do want to say I'm not a fan of and seem really bland that are Moon Crying, Stay With Me, and other ballads, but If she had another Yume No Uta/Futari De... I'm sure people would appreciated her ballads even more again, but it's just the same crap, I do love Kuu's ballads but she needs to try something new to make her ballads more different.

She actually has a crap ton of ballads that I don't like...not because they're bad...just because I don't really care for ballads like the ones she usually makes...like...the only ballads I really love...believe, aishou, pearl moon?, i think hands...the first song on bounce and lovers...i cant remember the name, but it starts with an "A"...

but for the ballads that she does usually put out....I can't deny that her lives of them are astounding.
