lol yup. i'm switching up the titles per thread by group. i'll probably do SMAP song for the next title. :) i haven't found any good sites for sales either. it's hard to find sales for the groups pre-Arashi debut. because no one loves the sempais. :(

i'm thinking there's a Tackey solo album in the works, eh?

i looked at Johnny's Net & yeah, Tsuba has a musical, i think that's what it is anyway. LOL.

actually, i think that people don't really...care for the sempais because they're just old. LMAO. sad, but true. & of course, the newer generation will attract fans since they're fresher, younger, part of their generation, etc.

but IMO, sempais > kouhais, personality wise. Gakkou e Ikou!, SMAPxSMAP, & Shin Domoto Kyoudai are just golden. i recently saw the SDK episode with Perfume...& i just kept LOLing throughout.

yeah it's unfortunate but at least we support their stuff so it's ok :laugh

I watched some episodes of Gakkou e Ikou! & Shin Domoto Kyoudai & both shows are very funny to a certain extent haha

Junior update , Ikuta Toma will have his movie debut as the lead actor of the upcoming film, Zigeunerweisen. Which is known in English as, No Longer Human. This movie is based off of the novel by the same name, written by one of Japan's most famous novelists, Osamu Dazai. It also has never been adapted to a film before and is only now being adapted to celebrate the 100th year since Dazai's birth.

Filming will begin this July and the movie is being slated for a 2010 spring release.

seems that a whopping 19 reissues will be released simultaneously & that will be taking place on 24th next month which includes singles , 6 albums, and 7 DVDs.

They will be re-released via JStorm as they used to be under Universal before making the switch to JStorm last year

I frankly don't know why this's happening though , must be some record label in between issues

Let's step back from Nagase's love life for a moment and talk about his new summer drama.

He will be starring in NTV's still untitled Saturday/9pm drama. This will be Japan's first spy comedy series.

Nagase plays Yoroi Kyosuke, a government spy who takes down terrorists like a "comedic James Bond" (oh, so you mean Austin Powers? lol). The drama is penned by Odoru Daisousasen writer Kimizuka Ryouichi who said, "I wanted a chance to work with Nagase. I think he's a modern day Ishihara Yujiro."

Yoroi is a gifted swindler sentenced to 30 years in prison for 13 counts of fraud. However, given his talents for swindling, in exchange for a dropped sentence he is scouted to work for the government's Secret Intellgence Department. Yoroi is a master of disguise who can become anyone: a teacher, doctor, host, pilot, even Korean actor Yon-sama (Bae Yong Joon).

And what's Bond with out a Bond Girl? There will be a beautiful female spy along with female guests in terrorist roles so expect some romance. He will have "unique" spy gadgets and... damn, this sounds pretty great.

His role is described as wild, sexy and silly. Nagase said he wants to have fun making the drama and I'm sure he will. And I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun watching it.

Johnny's getting old though. Johnny is my favorite Johnny, NGL. he makes the funniest jokes. whenever Kame's not around, Johnny makes himself the "K" and the group becomes JAT-TUN. LOL.

^ I'm afraid that when Johnny dies the company will seriously start to decline. Debuting groups this young is a bad idea imo...like when H!P started to concentrate on the young kids that is when everyone stopped caring about them. It's great that JE takes time with training their idols and they don't officially debut them until later, even though in some cases it doesn't work (Tackey debuted WAYYY too late imo) but every plan has it's flaws and every other JE group has been very successful. Then again JE is much smarter than H!P so I'm sure they will not make the same mistakes or at least I hope they won't. It would be a shame if JE is polluted with useless groups like C-ute, Berryz Kobo, Guardians 4... NOT COOL :headache

tbh, i'm already thinking that JE's going into decline with the newer groups (that....aren't KT/K8). @_@~

because, to my knowledge, Julie Kitagawa was the force behind the formation of NEWS, Hey! Say! JUMP....and this groups looks like her work too. i think she overlooks Arashi currently also. while Johnny puts his time into the sempais/K8/KT.

i can really see the difference between her line of work & Johnny. like...no offense, but all the newer debut groups have been generic (with terms of image & music). and you don't see very good group interaction between the members (ie. NEWS & H!S!J has like....too many members to really see that.) and what's up with new kids going into debut without undergoing the infamous embarassment that is the Johnny's Junior era? it's a great offense to the Juniors who've been in it for years. the reasons why i like the sempais/KT/K8 is because they have that sense of flair/style/AWESOMENESS versus the newer ones.

OH I AGREE. TACKEY SHOULD'VE DEBUT A LONG TIME AGO. tbh, after KinKi Kids, it should've been Takizawa Hideaki/Imai Tsubasa/T&T. AND THEN Arashi. Arashi fits in more with the current generation than the "sempai" generation if you know what i mean. i forget Arashi's sempai status already. LOL.

but yeah....we'll see how this group will go. heck, i might even like their song. LOL. but idk...gotta feeling these kids aren't my type. :3 and that name....WOW.

I watched finished Osama no Brunch , it was so cute that Kimura piggyback'd Kame in the beginning of the show xD xD

I was giggling when Kimura 'scolded' & make it sound like Kame's a brat heh heh heh even though I must say that Kame's character in MR BRAIN really freaks me out @_@

could tell that both guys have really good chemistry going on between them which's cool :D

It's funny that Kimura just walked up to any person & must his character lean & be SO close to the next party without notifying the person on 1st hand ?

haha but other than that , it's really interesting & I have a feeling that I will be learning quite a bit on neuroscience if this keeps up

no wonder the drama had such high ratings for the 1st episode & Mizushima Hiro is *__________* & he acted quite well for a dork in the show just like Kimura's character haha xD

i hear episode 3 got 16.3%. :(
i mean, that's great for any drama, but not for a ~KimuTaku~ one. that's the lowest for a KimuTaku drama since 1997, i hear. and OF COURSE, it's the one with Kame in it. i really hope it doesn't affect Kame too personally, since i know he loves acting. but, in order to act, you need the ratings.

but however, it seems like the reviews for episode 3 are good though. :) keep trying Kame!

AND IN OTHER NEWS.....JE continues to make me go WTF...

wtf....i don't get it at all.

1st of all regarding MR.BRAIN's ratings especially the episode that Kame appeared in - sometimes you should not equate ratings with the quality of the drama .

Like eg. ARASHI's Ohno's debut drama Maou . The ratings were meh but to me the overall drama package that was delivered was amazing & I feel both Ikuta & Ohno portrayed their roles very well .

I rather watch something that has substance & has subpar/low ratings rather than giving me a drama that has super good ratings & no substance (like eg. my younger sister feels that Ryusei no Kizuna doesn't deserve the ratings that it gotten & she suspect it's only because of the cast that was able to get to where it did so & in here I cannot comment because I never watched it)

oh i know. i don't watch j-dramas because they're cool & hip, but because i like story. "MR.BRAIN" has been totally awesome thus far. :yes i've actually been watching it pretty up to date. i haven't done so with a j-drama since...forever. dramas recently haven't been that great. prior to "MR.BRAIN", the last drama i fully watched was "Ryusei no Kizuna" (& lol....i didn't even finish the last episode. 8) so maybe "Maou").

but i'm just worried Kame's going to take it too personal. i mean, a KimuTaku drama hasn't gone below 20% in a DECADE & 2 years (& all KimuTaku dramas are awesome in their own right). and his anti-fans are just gonna eat it up and label him as "ratings poison"....i mean, he's already being called that around the drama realm. (& as a fan, it is worrisome. cuz sad Kame = sad Irene).

well, we'll see how next episode's ratings goes....but i have a feeling since Sato Takeru is in it, it's going to jump higher. :\

Maybe Kame has nothing to do with the ratings. I don't understand the sense of not watching an episode of the drama you like just because someone you don't like acts in it. Were the ratings of the second episode as high as that of the first?

the sempais i love are T&T, TOKIO, & KinKi Kids. ....well i like them all, but those 3 are my favorites. T&T have solid albums...but they only have 2 full-length ones. .__.;; "Hatachi" is pretty bossy too. i like Tsubasa's "Get Down".

but KinKi Kids probably out of them all has the best music, imo. they have all sorts of varieties! from awesome 90s J-pop to theatre to rock to beats/synths.

Gackt was pretty....graphic/scary in MR.BRAIN episode 2. D:

i like v6 and SMAP. i only started listening to v6 cause their early stuff is really similar to Namie Amuro's early stuff. cheesy eurobeat ftw :yes As for SMAP i love their show SMAPxSMAP and Utaban (Nakai is a host) so i eventually decided to try their music. TOKIO, T&T, and Kinki have some really good songs too but I've never heard a full album by them.

totally different. lol.

Koichi is more KinKi Kids, than Tsuyoshi is. Tsuyoshi has always been somewhat experimental with his solo stuff. Koichi's solo material is somewhat more theatrical...it's quite similar to 99%LIBERTY, Bonnie Butterfly, Yakusoku, etc.

my favorite Koichi solo is "Tsukiyo no Monogatari" found on KinKi Kids' F Album, but his (only) solo album "mirror" is great as well. :)
