previews!

Baila Baila was painful for me to listen to. It's a Disney throw away song.
No One Else is standard Yuna. Good Ballad. She holds that note well.
Body is something different from her. Sounds interesting.
Love you It should be a powerful song since it starts the album, but she overwhelms the background music at times.

Besides "No one else" (since I'm a sucker for cheesy love ballads) - the other previews are really...really bad. "BAILA BAILA" is just horrible. "LOVE MACHINE GUN" and "love you" are the two songs that MAY HAVE potential so I'll wait until the full versions are out for those. Thank god for the singles though or else I wouldn't even be purchasing this album.

From the previews, BAILA BAILA is the only bad song.

Baila Baila sounds a bit similar to Maloha (spelling?). That song she did with Micro from Def Tech.

I'm listening to it now . It doesn't sound like what I expected it to be

it's very upbeat with great beats but it does sound repetitive as time goes by

it's OK but nothing beats WORKAHOLIC for an opening track of hers imo

from the singles & B-sides & with love you , I realised that she's moving more towards a dancey inspired record for Dream which I don't know if it's a good or bad thing

i'd rather have a more ballad yuna than dance. that's why i loved WISH so much. it wasn't as happy sounding as DREAM sounds so far.

if the reminding album tracks on Dream will sound like love you , oh dear I really don't know what to say man :S

Yuna has a stronger voice than BoA and Utada. I think she would do okay beside neither of the two has really been successful in the U.S. yet anyway. I heard the previews but I rather not judge based on that alone. I want to hear the full tracks before I decide if the album is worth my money. The tracks do not sound all that bad I just wish it wasn't so pop.

But I don't think Yuna'll do it! There is another reason.
She lived in US with her parents. Right? So, she could begin her career in US and not in Japan.

Dream has to be 1 of the easier albums that I will be reviewing about in due time simply because I just need to hear the reminding 4 tracks on the album as it's a short one compared to her previous releases

but yeah I don't know why she's choosing to go this dance pop route . I don't mind if Dream's an ballad affair as her ballads are fantastic & there was a time I DETESTED her doing upbeat no.s like some s-ithead as I rather she use that great voice of hers to do ballads than dancey tunes

but after Koi wa groovy x2 came along , my perception over this changed for the better slightly

No one ever said she was going to. We're just saying if she does she might have a chance at succeeding. In fact she did get a record deal in the U.S. but she turned it down, also Utada live in the U.S. with her parents but she started her career in Japan, so location has nothing to do with it.

And LOVE MACHINE GUN sounds great to me! I'm kinda more fond of No one else (it sounds so lovely,xD) and Body (because it's different and catchy :love).
