Division of News into 2 forums
 

In order to improve organization of the forum the staff have decided to split News into two forums: Ayu Music News & Ayu Celebrity News

Ayu Music News is for any news that is directly related to Ayu's music and discography. This includes:

• CD/DVD releases
• concert tour news
• sales charts & rankings
• etc

Ayu Celebrity News is for any news that is not directly related to Ayu's music and discography. This includes:

• Oricon popularity polls
• blog posts
• TeamAyu matters
• etc

oh, interesting, i dont really see need for it, but there probably is

i think this would be good. but i am just afraid that there will be news that dont fall into either sub-forums and den disputes may occur over such trivial things .

Who requested for the news section to be divided into two?

I guess it could be stuff like TA messages that contain rumors of new singles... or TA messages that contain Ayu talking about new songs (remember that she kept blabbering about Days last year, even revealing some lyrics lol)... yeah those might cause confusion... but I think it'll be all right!

This is a great idea! I hate to have to sift through all the threads about random magazines and oricon polls to find stuff about singles and albums.

Well I think that any rumours will still be in Celebrity News.

It seemed to me that the News was only for official announcements, sales, etc.

And I think that if we get any information about the announcements from Ayu herself...it should be in the official thread that had the announcement...

We have so many threads for the tiniest stuff...another reason why everything was so messy.

Also, Ayu photoshoots from magazines and Deji Deji will be in the Ayu Celebrity News, and song translations will be in the Ayu Music News. Just FYI for everyone. :)

i like this...at least if there's something new (single/album/dvd) it wont get lost amidst all that

I'm not too sure about this either, like waterballoon has said.

Any blog posts that give information about an upcoming single, or any information about it at all, or something of the lyrics, or where they're shooting the pv, where will you put it?

A lot of the times we get information from the posts before an official announcement is made. So where would you put the blog post?

I would hope all the blog posts would be in the same forum,
I would also hope blog posts with information about her music would be in the music news section.

That means you'll need to put it in two places?

Also, what about magazine articles or interviews or translations? If they also contain something to do with her upcoming release, or what she's working on, or what she plans to do, or the meaning or whatever, I would hope to see that in the music news section. But because it will also most likely have scans and non-music news too, where you gonna put it?

If you're going to have one thread for each new album/single/pv etc. and put ALL relevant information in there as links, I guess that could work, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, make it forum policy that if you add a new link or new information to a thread that that is somehow indicated to us readers. It's impossible to know if all the new posts on a thread are just chat, or if something new has been posted. have to browse through several pages just to find there was nothing new.

Anyway, the idea seems ok, I'm just concerned what you plan to do with overlaps, and if you do make mega information threads, I hope you can make it so that it is clear what has been added and when.

Perhaps make it so that the OP lists the links in order with the date the link was added?

I think that is a good idea ^^ But probably the music news forum will be sometimes so inactive...

well, i suppose everything relates to ayu as a singer goes to the music forum. the staff can always move the "inappropriate" threads to the correct one. so as a member, just follow the common sense.

It will be a bit hard to get used to it, especially when you have some news you are not sure were to put in XD
But when we all get used to it it will be a bit more organized you´re right^^

Great! News has been very busy lately, I'm glad there's two forums to file the different types of news in! ;D

bit odd at first but ill get used to it jajaja in the end its is as they say..so much better for the organization of the forum

I like this. Although now (for example) the music one will be dead, I'm sure as she releases at a more normal pace everything should be up and running. I think that any TA post that relates to an upcoming release should just be quoted when starting a new thread in the music forum AFTER an official update of her site or ORICON (e.g. composers, lyric excerpts, etc.) I hope the staff wouldn't mind updating the title after such edits are made, if that's possible.
