how long do korean artistes promote their songs?...it goes on for months...unlike Japanese artistes...takes months to a new single..

Usually they promote their songs for a while, and then after a month or so they end their "promotion activities" and take a break to work on something new.

I FREAKING LOVE 2NE1! They are kinda the reason why I've been away from this forum for so long. ( I thought there wasn't a thread for them here)

They said they were doing an album after the minialbum. Was that cancelled or is it still planned? I know GD is coming with his album this month and that maybe they didn't want the competition. I want some fast powered songs.

i seriously cannot wait for the album. they've become my favorite group this summer, amongst all the others that were competing heavily.

after i didnt like fire, i somehow downloaded their mini album. i was really bored that day i guess lol. and i freaking love them so much right now!!! in the club and i dont care are the hottest tracks

Fire was a bit weak sometimes, especially Bom's voice was hardly to hear.

That's one of my fave performances right now. :laugh

They also did their own solo, although Minzi only danced.
I didn't thought Dara (she sang Get Right by J-Lo) and Bom (Crazy In Love by Beyonce) were great at all, but CL (Doo Wop by Lauren Hill) was so awesome!!

^that was in the Chocolate show. But i loved those performances too

the solos at chocolate were okay, i only really liked minzy's and cl's. tbh the rest of 2NE1 being back up dancers during crazy in love were outshining bom lol.

Maybe because her big strength is dancing?
She never get a singing solo in the past shows as well, did she.
But it's really unfair, I like her voice so much!

Im sure YG wont leave her out...I can see Dara, Bom and CL pursuing solos because Dara is versatile, Bom has the vocals, CL has the rap and charisma...Minzy's forte is still her dancing despite having the voice as well...but she's still young..no rush :)

I think their solo songs would be included in the album itself...But i just hope its not some..."Hey we're 2NE1, but here's album of our solos..." =.= I mean, I want a balance of their songs as a grp and if 3 of them are hvaing solos..then thats 3 tracks already. KNowing how korean albums are, its gonna be at most 10-12 tracks...o well we'll see

It's possible that it'll grow on me and I'll love it later, just like with Physical Thing from Kuu. It has the potential (the end part is just great).
