Upbeat yet Sad Song
 
Do you know some songs that can be described like this? "Upbeat yet Sad Song"
Basically, the lyrics are sad, but the song are upbeat, yea something like that~

I just found a few like fairyland (Ayu) & Beautiful World (Utada)

Anyone could help to give me recommendation or ideas?
Any Artists are okay, as long as it is Asian~ :D

sifow CLARITY was very good and for the lyrics, i really like it~

I've already read the lyrics of Love Bye Love but haven't hear the songs yet, but WOW for the lyrics, very good~

Niji-iro Bus?? I didn't find the lyrics quite sad, am i didn't understand it very well?

I forgot why it was sad. I think it's about trying to get over depression? But still wanting to be in a lonely world without anyone to bring you down? I forgot the actual meaning XD I know I read it somewhere.

Might just be me, but not exactly the happiest of songs, when it comes to lyrics. I mean no, its not talking about crying, and heartbreak, and someone dying...(sorta). But its not "I've got a pocket, got a pocket full of sunshine".

imo Saito Kazuyoshi did an amazing job in writing/composing it & this led me to discover on what a great musician Saito's :D

It usually takes a LOT outta me to get choked up / teary eyed on songs & etc but after listening to Puzzle , I can't help it as it's so good & the lyrics are sad too :(

You should check out Goodbye My Heart by Jisun~ It's a good song, the lyrics are sad and it's pretty upbeat with a cool 80s feel. :D
