Best-Arranged Songs

Hi everyone, i think ayu's music has a lot of good arrangements (especially from HAL)
so what do u think is the best arranged one?

I think they are:
LOVE ~Destiny~ (10th Anniversary Version)
M
evolution
Over
Dearest
Sparkle

~StarCatcher~ 8th October 2009 12:08 PM

I think

Over and Heaven are the best-arranged songs

She has really a lot very well arranged songs =)

ownsarai 8th October 2009 12:08 PM

Sparkle definitely does. I also love Mirrorcle World/Mirror, M, Dearest, SURREAL, POWDER SNOW, Free & Easy, forgiveness, Memorial address, GAME, I am...
There's plenty more, but I'm not going to name all of them here, I'll be here all night! xD

Aditmi Krisnasaki ~II~ 8th October 2009 12:39 PM

^ yeah...
i forgot MW...hehe~

Crystal_Ageha 8th October 2009 01:13 PM

I can't think off the top of my head an Ayu song that doesn't have really good arrangement, actually. I think her ballades tend to have some of the best, though. I love the arrangements for HEAVEN and Dearest.

~StarCatcher~ 8th October 2009 01:58 PM

Riiiight I forgot forgiveness
How could I ??
O_o

:D

Not~Yet 8th October 2009 05:45 PM

Lol imo Ayu's songs always have like the best arrangements in the world... xD Always very layered and original. Like Crystal_Ageha said I don't think there's any Ayu song that doesn't have a good arrangement.. But one of the best would probably be M, ourselves (actually pretty much the whole Memorial Address album O_o), Mirrorcle World, Boys & Girls, Fly High, Moments, evolution, Sparkle, Endless Sorrow (original), ASFXX, Trauma, Real Me, Voyage, Born to be... Step YOU, Ladies Night, GREEN, is this LOVE? and alterna. Do interludes count? Then I would say catcher in the light and tasking and Pieces of SEVEN.

Embleu 8th October 2009 08:00 PM

Duty, M (original, HΛL's Progress, unplugged, and orchestra mixes), A Song Is Born (orchestra version), Free & Easy, Dolls, Heartplace, Hanabi: Episode II, Wonderland, Not Yet, Labyrinth, Kiss 'o Kill, The Judgement Day, Green. Voyage, Fairyland, and Will are pretty good stuff as far as arrangements go, but their arrangements don't scream "uniquely Ayu".

elepop 8th October 2009 09:42 PM

RAINBOW and SURREAL.

yuki_unmei 8th October 2009 09:47 PM

HEAVEN
fated
identity
rollin'
evolution
STEP you
Life
talkin' 2 myself
until that Day...

all of them are, really. :yes

panda87 9th October 2009 01:01 AM

after listening to JUST the instrumentals available and others without instrumentals, here it goes...
hands down to:

Heartplace
Hanabi
Hanabi ~episode II~
Happy Ending
(gosh, so many H's........)
Mirrorcle World
Dearest (the official song that got me officially crazy about Ayu's music)
Endless Sorrow (album and single version)
Never Ever
Still Alone
TO BE (2003 ReBirth Mix)
Carols
forgiveness
GREEN
Will

these are GENIUS works. some give me chills up the spine. some are just jaw-dropping (where i later realize that i've had my jaw down for the whole song)

love in music 9th October 2009 02:12 AM

there are so many and i agree with most of what people listed already but Mirrorcle World is probably the best arranged song i've ever heard by any artist.

jean-baptiste 9th October 2009 02:52 AM

SURREAL for sure

Aditmi Krisnasaki ~II~ 9th October 2009 09:56 AM

ah yeah... i think SEASONS have the great arrangement too..^^

ownsarai 9th October 2009 10:05 AM

I think the whole 'trilogy' vogue, SEASONS and Far away are all arranged very beautifully. That would also make Life a beautifully arranged song, since SEASONS and Life pretty much have similar arrangement.

ayu-fan 11th October 2009 08:33 AM

Mirrorcle World - the messiest song i've ever heard but actually it's pretty good

SURREAL - same with MW

vogue - i love the traditional vibe, kinda repetitive but it's addictive

Aditmi Krisnasaki ~II~ 12th October 2009 02:17 PM

^ agree w/ the Vogue

Chibi_Venus 12th October 2009 10:08 PM

They're all great, really. :) But my favorites, or what I think are the best arranged, are...

alterna
Because of You
criminal
decision
forgiveness
Free & Easy
GREEN
HAPPY ENDING
HEAVEN
Heartplace
I am...
is this LOVE?
Marionette
Mirrorcle World
Naturally
no more words
talkin' 2 myself
until that Day...

AyUta 13th October 2009 12:51 AM

i say M and Dearest.

Right off the top of my head:

"A Song for XX"
"too late" (the album version from LOVEppears)
"Who..."
The *entire* RAINBOW album plus the song "RAINBOW"
"SURREAL"
"SURREAL (Acoustic Orchestra Version)"
"ever free" (HAL'S MIX 2000)
"HANABI ~episode II~ (HAL'S MIX 2003)"
"I am... (Acoustic Orchestra Version)"
"NEVER EVER (Acoustic Orchestra Version)" - my favorite AO arrangement
"Endless sorrow"
"Voyage"
"forgiveness"
"GAME"
"GAME" (Classical Version)
"alterna" (the altered album version from (miss)understood)
"HEAVEN" - the bridge from 1:39 to 2:22 is beautiful
"Will"
"Mirrorcle World"
"momentum"
"Together when"
"Sparkle"
"BALLAD" - my favorite Ayu ballad ever
"Microphone" - excellent guitars
"Don't Look Back" - the sitars are AMAZING
"sexy little things" - I love all the subtle sound effects in it
Ayu's cover of "teens" by TRF - I know it's not an original song, but this is a great rearrangement

...and pretty much everything else arranged by HAL :D

dreamland2.0 30th April 2010 03:26 AM

Anything by Yuta Nakano!!! <3 :P
I shall think about this more later...

primavera♥ 30th April 2010 03:51 AM

Kazeyomi 30th April 2010 04:00 AM

So hard D: Ayu has so many good arranged songs! And I don't say that just because it's my favourite singer lol.
Here's the most well done in my opinion:

Heartplace
NEVER EVER
Because of You
Mirrorcle World
Dolls
Voyage
HANABI
JEWEL
P.S II
And Then
Memorial Address
forgiveness
A Song for XX
rollin'
GREEN
ever free
Sexy little things
Endless Sorrow
M

and Catcher in The Light, montage, everlasting dream and Not Yet although are interludes/intros :D

dayumi 30th April 2010 06:06 AM

How the instruments sound together ^^)~

I really love the part in A Song for XX after wakarazuni.
I think for me, it's one of the best intros to an Ayu song chorus.
It's one of the greatest arranged songs in her discography!

Zeke. 30th April 2010 06:35 AM

I think this is another reason why I love Ayu. Her music is very entertaining - there's something new to hear replay after replay.

I'll just mention STEP you. I really love how they used the robotic voices in unison with her vocals in other parts of the song, if you listen carefully!

dreamland2.0 30th April 2010 06:46 AM

^
^Yes I definitely agree!! A Song for XX has an amazing arrangement!!
Endless Sorrow also has an amazing arrangement!

A recent song that I've liked is meaning of Love... I really like the sweet arrangement it has!

ayufan- 30th April 2010 10:00 AM

I think: Rainbow, Hanabi, Memorial Adress, Last Links, Game, Carols, Secret, Jewel, Is This Love, Sparkle. And her version from Haru Yo Koi, it is one from the most beautiul songs I've ever heard! Mostly ballads, but i like the ballads however she have to make more up-beat songs.

Mirrorcle Monster 30th April 2010 03:40 PM

Free & Easy, M, evolution, HEAVEN, Moments, is this LOVE?, untitled-for her
