Polyrhythm 9th October 2009 12:08 AM

Yay! We get Perfume again! Uh...Ayu...no surprise there...glad to see she's holding on to tradition...wonder what she'll sing this time...Is this Kuraki Mai's first time?

ayumisrael 9th October 2009 12:08 AM

^ayu will probably sing a song from the new single she records these days. ^-^

Won't the white team aotomatic win solely for the reason of having ARASHI? :P

NintendoHTF1242 9th October 2009 12:13 AM

Yay for AI and Angela! Eww GIRL NEXT DOOR.

The last time the Red team won was 2004. It's really no surprise that the male (white) team has won these past couple of years considering sales trends, etc. but at the same time there are so many strong performers this year for the Red team so maybe they have a chance ( :yes )!

milky_way 9th October 2009 12:40 AM

The lineup for the Red Team looks pretty good, but I'm almost positive they'll lose again this year.

Beauty4123 9th October 2009 12:43 AM

omg already?! time goes by too fast!

i was hoping BoA would be on the list. :( but yay for SID, ARASHI (:smitten), Miliyah Kato, and Kimura Kaela! i never saw them at kohaku before.

but btw, i was just wondering...is this the accurate list or is this just a list of people who you choose to watch perform or something. i'm just surprised it's announced so early.

nanakopy87 9th October 2009 01:22 AM

i predict White team will win again this year...adn ayu~~~she need to rush for her CDL again...but i like it =D

emi♡ 9th October 2009 01:33 AM

Kaela Kimura, Miliyah Kato, Mika <3 Cool they're going to be there...and Mai Kuraki.

Cool listing this year...Guys list looks the same to me :think ;)

SunshineSlayer 9th October 2009 01:38 AM

Wow! I have got to say that is the best Kohaku list I have seen in a freakin loooooooong time.

Namie hasn't been on since they made her cover up her tattoos in her So Crazy performance. Be interesting to see if she has to cover them again. (like they made Ayu do last year)

Also it's Arashi's first appearance as well as Superfly.

And yeah for Morning Musume being invited back after not being invited last year!

And Nakamori Akina? Wonder what she will sing.

It also says that this will officially be Ayaka's last performance.

Where are all the enka singers though?

dreamland2.0 9th October 2009 01:55 AM

Looks like a pretty sweet list.
I predict White Team will win again though :laugh

KarenPang 9th October 2009 02:32 AM

this's a noob question but can someone explain to me what's this NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen all about ? :dead2

& YAY for all the artistes I support on there especially SID & ARASHI :heart

dreamland2.0 9th October 2009 02:45 AM

explains it pretty well... :P

It wouldn't be Mai's first time. She performed in 2003 with "Stay by my side", her last appearance was on 2005.

Yay for Morning Musume. I hope they perform "Kimagure Princess" and I hope Koharu will be allowed to perform it with them.

wait, just caught myself, is this the official list?

it's just the expected list of artists that people hope will perform?

Meat Pao 9th October 2009 03:29 AM

It's sad that Aoyama Thelma isn't in the list :( BUT I'M SO EXCITED CUZ SUPERFLY AND KIMURA KAELA AND NAMIE IS GONNA BE THERE YAYAYAYAY

I am so excited!!!
Those are like my favorites... Especially Namie, Miliyah & Mika! <3

Must watch this show!

(yes, i'm a closeted AKB48 fan.) lol

AyuGAME 9th October 2009 03:34 AM

maybe this year red team can win?
with namie amuro and mai kuraki in there? and this is last performance of ayaka right?
maybe red team can win

Ayumiko 9th October 2009 03:50 AM

Ayu, Namie, Ayaka, and Arashi! Looking forward to it!

TLBandwut 9th October 2009 03:53 AM

Isn't this just a prediction/list of singers people want to see perform? It's not confirmed, right?

SunshineSlayer 9th October 2009 06:01 AM

^ That's what I'm thinking. They release a "we hope this artist performs" list every year. There is no way there would be no enka performers on the show.

KarenPang 9th October 2009 06:05 AM

^ well regardless of which , I really love the lineup

Artistes like Saito Kazuyoshi , Fukuyama Masaharu , ARASHI , SID (:luv2 :luv2 :luv2) & etc , what more you can expect ?

I was hoping to see B'z , flumpool & Suga Shikao on the list but oh well .____.

waterballoon 9th October 2009 06:10 AM

I've recently gotten interested in Namie, so I'll be looking forward to her, Kuu, Ai Otsuka, Ayu, Tohoshinki~

I just don't want to get my hopes up because this list sounds too good to be true.

Calico 9th October 2009 07:12 AM

I read somewhere (of course i have no idea where now, sorry) that the committee or whoever was saying that they were having a big change this year...maybe it's the absence of Enka singers, if this is the real list, but even I don't believe that. That would pretty much be sacrilegious.

maze 9th October 2009 07:21 AM

Kuu will perform there, anyway XD

so I'm always sooo happy :luv2

summersnow 9th October 2009 08:49 AM

yeah kaela kimura!!

Diego-kun 9th October 2009 05:00 PM

Ok guys, this is not the official list of performers! Actually, it's just a prediction based on the singers' popularity or something like that. I know it'd be great if it was true but you shouldn't build your hopes up! If I remember correctly, Namie also appeared on that list last year and unfortunately she didn't perform finally

RikkuChii 9th October 2009 06:21 PM

^Yeah, that's what I was thinking..

..Namie might not perform..she declined the invitation, didn't she?

aloopy 9th October 2009 06:30 PM

Oh, it's not official?
That's bs! I got all excited for nothing lol :boom

They weren't invited? I thought it was due to all of them having different commitments and simply being too busy. That's lame of them not to have invited them, they are one of the most popular girl groups in Japan after all and they have like a billion boy bands :(

Why isn't DCT on there if it's a prediction/want list? They did so well this year!

I'm so so sorry everyone! This page at Oricon has it listed as 紅白予想, i.e., the EXPECTED(or anticipated) guest list. Sorry for that mistake!

I was just so excited to see Kimura Kaela there.

Yoake 9th October 2009 10:37 PM

It would be a really good kouhaku with all that artists! :yes

Yeah, MM were not invited to any year end show last year.

hpg23 9th October 2009 11:32 PM

You know, we should make like a tutorial on how to watch this live, (maybe a link to that thread that explained how to watch japanese TV online) and more important, a list of the timezones so we know at what time the live broadcast will be seen in other parts of the world ^O^

So weird that there's no enka singers around, frankly I don't see that happening anywhere soon. Kouhaku is all about tradition, there's like no way they are erasing the enka singers outta the way.

I really expect Perfume's performance, they did awesome last year.

Hope the list comes true, specially for Namie, GIRL NEXT DOOR, Aqua Timez and more!!!

DA1SUK1DAY01691 10th October 2009 02:37 AM

I'm surprised AAA made the prediction list. I'd be SUPER happy if they actually made it.

AyUta 10th October 2009 06:53 AM

Great! I gotta see this when it leaks!

ストロボ・EdGE 10th October 2009 06:34 PM

As was said before, this is not the official list but I will try to post here updates as new things are announced ( :yes ). Again, sorry for the confusion I caused.

TITANIC 11th October 2009 02:26 PM

So ayaka will perform once again..yiihhahah...

thanks for the info
