The annual "Best artist" television show is coming up and the voting form is up! Click here to fill out the form.

Questions translated.

1) Five best artists that best represent the Heisei era (which means in the past 21 years)
2) Five songs that best represent the Heisei era that you want to hear
3) Breakout artist of the year
4) Special segment you want to see (like collaborations, medleys, etc.)

I like your picks. :) I see a lot of people picking songs that don't really fit what the category is (the most memorable songs from the Hesei era)

Also, people seem to be under the impression that the top 5 you pick are ranked - they aren't necessarily. Pretty much everything is an equal vote. On the show, there is no "winner" or anything like that.

Well, it's basically the same for any of these kinds of shows - it all boils down simply to who is available to perform. For example, do you see SMAP, Mr. Children, B'Z, Southern All Stars etc., performing on this show every year? Nope. But I think most people know that all of those groups would have certainly gotten enough votes in at least one of the categories. I see it really more as just a fun thing to vote for.

I think this is what they use to tabulate the percentages of fans that "requested"/voted for the artists when they pop up on stage if they end up appearing on the show.

Ayu's tend to be quite high and get gold stars on the 20s and older age groups, haha.

^ Right. There is nothing that shows who actually got the most votes, just what age groups and gender voted for which artist the most.

If the " color~melody and hamony " really one kind of the best then many other songs (of other artists and not in that list) are the most ultimate/supreme

^ Me too, even though technically she is from last year. There really was a drought of new talent this year imo.

I can't remember what songs I wrote, but for artists I put Ayu, Namie, Arashi, Morning Musume, L'arc en Ciel. And for the special performances thing I put hit medleys from Arashi, Namie, and Ayumi.

lol like i said i should of put other artists instead :P as much as i worship MAKI :heart there is no way she is one of the best artists that represent the heisei era.
