Her hair is really nice in that picture~! Where she's had light hair for a while it might've been too drastic to go too dark? But it's definitely a nice shade! (Even if the lighting might be making a little different.)

For the covers, I want Ayu to use her real hair! She's been using a lot of hair pieces lately, right? I think it'd be nice if it was a simple cover with her natural hair and a relaxed expression... Ah, but the covers were probably talked about a lot in the other threads, huh? ^^;

honestly, has anyone else really liked ayu's fashion choices?

well anyways, i wonder when we'll get the first new info? the middle of november seems sooo far away!! wow i'm getting that excited new single feeling LOL!

The way I see it, the time table's going to go like this:

WEEK OF NOV1-7:
We'll start hearing about the cover shoot and PV plans on Ayu's blog
WEEK OF NOV8-14:
The PVs will likely be shot this week, at the very end of this week or the start of the next one, we'll get the covers.
WEEK OF NOV15-21:
PVs are off to be edited, we'll get previews of the songs via ringtones, at least one of the songs will leak(most likely You were...) to the Jpopmafia, and maybe surface here. Ayu may begin rehearsal for the CDL.
WEEK OF NOV22-28:
More CDL rehearsal for Ayu, we'll get news clips involving one or both of the PVs
WEEK OF NOV29-DEC5:
We'll get the first PV aired on TV, probably "You were..."; If BALLAD is going to leak, this is when it'll happen.
WEEK OF DEC6-DEC12:
Second PV, most likely "BALLAD", is aired on TV
WEEK OF DEC13-19:
Full single likely leaks on Dec.13, Single release Dec. 16.

Technically You were.../BALLAD is already taking longer to leak then Rule or Sunrise did, in terms of time between leak and release. Rule was around two months before the single, and Sunrise a month and a half.

Well, she said "Kami wo kuroku shimashita" which doesn't mean "I dyed my hair black," it actually translates to "I darkened my hair."

That could mean she's anywhere from light brown to black, or even still in the blond range, honestly. The hair color is a welcomed change, but I really hope she stops making those vapid expressions... ugh.

it's too early for the leaks considering the songs still don't have any tie-ins announced yet ^^

^no, compared to her last singles, the leaks are actually late. One of the song should have leaked in full already, since Rule was out 2 months prior to release, and Sunrise was out a month and a half before release

We didn't have much info since the single was announced -_-

Those both had pretty big tie-ins, with Rule having Dragon Ball Evolution and Sunrise having a drama tie-in that showed a few weeks before release.

They don't. But for the most part, I think they please overseas fans and are often overlooked by Japanese fans I'd imagine. If anything, it's good promo for overseas people who aren't sure if they want to buy the single and find that they like the tracks.

If she just started recording the songs, it wouldn't surprise me if the single was bumped back a week or two =/
