I noticed this hadn't been posted yet. Since my mother tongue is french, I tried my hand at translating to english from http://ayuangel.com/

The french from France and my french is different, so I apologize if there are some mistakes, or things that aren't very clear.

Looks like we may be getting a Marionette performance at this years CDL... maybe.

Oh, goodness, her CDL's have been getting kinda bigger lately... Here's a hint about the "lack of seats" problem: Take away your catwalk. I know it's your thing, but if you want more seats, that'll solve the problem (kinda).

Oh no not the catwalk. I loooove that stage. And she can only do it Yoyogi, not on tour. I would love if she could keep that one! :heart

I don't think she'll do another Dome concert / tour... that's where her ear problems started. We don't want her right ear to start having problems D:

I love the stage, too, but she's been getting a lot of messages about how there aren't enough seats at CDL, so maybe she can take away the catwalk (and additional stages) just for CDL.

I think the different stages/catwalk makes it so she's closer than usual to the fans so they scream a lot more than usual as well. Taking those out wouldn't really free up that many seats anyway, right. Maybe at the most 50-60?

The CDLs are seeming less and less like one-shot deals as the years go by and more like a separate "tour-like" show all on their own. I wonder what the opener will be. Hopefully not Rule again like the t2m dominated shows of 2007-2008. Perhaps a ballad like PCDL?

Any opener can rock my boat actually. She opend beautifuly with HAPPY ENDING at AT05 and just as powerful with Rule for AT09. Maybe RED LINE would be a pretty cool and meaningful opener? But I dont think she is gonna go for that, but it would be kind of awesome.

I wouldn't call GREEN a ballad... I hated t2m being the opener for ALL those concerts, but I don't mind Rule. It's really an amazing song to start a concert.

I understand why she extends the catwalk and has those additional stages... I doubt she'll move away from Yoyogi for this concert to go somewhere bigger, though.

I just realized she can't use the Tokyo Dome - Johnny's uses it for their New Years concerts. lol.

She did say before that they were coming home to Yoyogi for the CDL in an early blog entry, I think.

Having t2m open two different shows was just not a good idea. CDL07-08 -> AT08? It was like... didn't we see this already? I'm hoping it isn't Rule mostly because it's already been used at a-nation '09 and AT09.

Her past openers seem to fluctuate in terms of genre a lot...
00-01: Duty
01-02: Connected
02-03: Real me
03-04: ourselves
04-05: WHATEVER
05-06: STEP you
06-07: ourselves
07-08: talkin' 2 myself
08-09: GREEN

I kind of hope that she'll do the ballad tracks here or during the actual concert and not jam them in the MC like HEAVEN was the two times it was featured. HEAVEN got shafted from having a 50m long/20kg heavy dress! TWICE! (I like her crazy outfits most of the time, so sue me.) Or perhaps she'll pull out some super old song that hasn't been performed for a while and do that? I know I'll be awake on New Year's Eve [12/30 here?] tracking what's going on, haha.

Wow CDL already...sounds like she wants to make it better than PCDL. Can't wait to see it.

Ayu... you always do big things... XDD it's like last CDL have had always sth special... BEST of CDL 06-07 for A BEST 2, 10th anniversary CDL 07-08 for her ann., PREMIUM CDL 08-09 for the end of the anniversary... and now 10th anniversary of CDL 09-10... XDDD

And I find interesting how they choose songs for the setlist... watching PV's and past performances... Oh Ayu please, memorial addres, BoY, teddy bear, marionette, walking proud, coooome baaaaack!!!

Tokyo Dome is not the only dome in Japan, so she could use some other one. I guess it's for tradition more than anything that she goes back to Yoyogi every year.

And she should change venue, or at least add more dates (dec 27, 28, etc) to bring up attendance and make the spectacle more profitable

It's not really that confusing... 2010-2011 would be the 11th CDL since she started with 2000-2001 with the CDLs. It'll have been 10 years by then, but I don't think she's counting it like that, haha. It's kind of amazing how many shows Ayu has had over the years. [10 CDLs counting this upcoming one, and 10+ different tours... [including the different parts of ct2000, OPEN AIR LIVE, the secret lives, A MUSEUM, and etc.]

I thought that LOVE 'n' HATE and identity were AMAZING at ArenaTour 2009. So I hope she sings those for this CDL! Also, I always loved Memorial Address, she doesn't sing it often enough...

what could possibly be bigger than PCDL? i have no idea what she's going to pull, but i have no doubt it'll be as epic as she says. i really hope she performs the remaining songs that she's never done live before.

I live in Finland, but I'm planning to go to Taiwan to see my wife's family. Could travel back via Tokyo if I can get tickets ;)

Yeah, I really don't know how she can out-do what she did with PCDL, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see! Regardless, I'm very much looking forward to it!

This is the 10th anniversary of doing Countdown Lives, that's why :)
