Most remixed Ayu song?

I've been trying to find information on this, but what song of Ayu's discography is the most remixed song?

NintendoHTF1242 16th November 2009 10:15 PM

Most likely SEASONS, kanariya, or appears.

Picaflor 7/4 16th November 2009 11:50 PM

Let's look http://www.ahsforum.com/forum/showpo...04&postcount=1

from the looks of it, it appears that...appears has the most remixes next to depend on you and boys & girls, I am just guessing from how many times the word comes up. you can count yourself if you want to truly know, but I'd say any song from her duty or I am... era will have the most remixes over any other song.

Rainbow141 16th November 2009 11:57 PM

I've always wondered that too, but I've had a feeling it was appears, now that you mention it. At one point, when I had nearly all official Ayu remixes on my computer.... appears took up a crap load of room. Just appears at all. Then I had the music box, piano instrumentals, remixes, remix instrumentals. @_@

This is good to know, though, as a remix/techno fan. Thanks!

Crystal_Ageha 17th November 2009 12:02 AM

What about Fly high?? :thud

ownsarai 17th November 2009 12:03 AM

Thanks for that list Picaflor, my search always fails on me. >.<

Fly high? I've hardly seen any of those... except maybe on the Fly high single and other LOVEppears-era singles, maybe... O_o

It should be remixed more, though. =T

Crystal_Ageha 17th November 2009 12:35 AM

Okay, I quickly made up a fairly accurate list of how many songs have had how many remixes.
I included every remix album, including MY STORY CLASSICAL. I did NOT include singles (since almost all the remixes on singles are also on albums; however, to make it more accurate, I would say to add a few numbers to songs from the first and second albums, specifically Depend on you, Boys & Girls, appears and Fly high) or mega mixes aside from the ones specifically formed into an album (for example, I did not include the mega mix on the S/S~LiA~ single). I also did not include the unreleased versions of ayu-mi-x 6.
Here's the list:

A Song for XX - 4
A Song is Born - 1
About You - 1
alterna - 1
And Then - 6
appears - 10

flower garden - 1
Fly high - 14
For My Dear... - 1
Free & Easy - 3
FRIEND II - 1
from your letter - 2
GAME - 2
girlish - 3
glitter - 1
Greatful Days - 1
Hana - 3
HANABI - 5

I love how no one listens to me.

I said appears seem to have the most. at no time did I say "appears has the most remixes of any other song." opinion/fact.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 17th November 2009 02:09 AM

ye I was thinking about Boys & Girls xD

noone seemed to mention it... :P

thanks for that info! ^^

Crystal_Ageha 17th November 2009 02:21 AM

Yeah, I was really surprised no one mentioned Boys & Girls. I thought that was obvious. And I remembered Fly high had so freakin' many because I don't really like that song, and then I got so dang sick of it because of the millions (okay, not that many >.>) of remixes I sat through of it. -_-'

...Was this directed towards me? 'Cause I wasn't trying to call you out on anything. I was just making a list for people to see... :(

Rainbow141 17th November 2009 02:34 AM

Same here... I totally forgot about Boys & Girls. Doi. xP

Actually, I thought it was to me. I was talking about appears a lot. >_>

In any case, I think it's settled.... Boys & Girls, appears.... whatever. Now I need to go listen to all 12 of Boys & Girls remixes! =3

ownsarai 17th November 2009 03:44 AM

Now I just have to find all of the remixes. xD

not really, but i noticed a few comments saying that I said appears has the most remixes and they're correcting me. "no boys and girls has the most remixes!" like I stated a fact that appears has the most. just throwing it out there that I gave the list a quick glance and didn't thoroughly look through it. I just noticed that appears had a hell of a lot of remixes.

Oh god..I believe to have listened just 4 remixes!

thanks for the list it's interesting

Crystal_Ageha 17th November 2009 06:48 PM

Like I said, guys, that isn't all, by any means. For example, I know for a fact about the fairyland remix, but it was never on an album so I didn't list it. I believe it's safe to say there are probably a few more SEASONS, Boys & Girls, kanariya, Dearest, Fly high and appears, etc. remixes. Maybe not, but probably. I have 78 remixes alone, all of them being official, and many aren't listed; because I know for a fact I don't have any remixes of, say, CAROLS (since I don't really like that one), but I have 17 different remixes of kanariya (which of love :P).

So if you're really curious about finding a specific song's remixes, make sure to go through singles! You'll probably only find one or two at best if you're looking for a newer song, but, again, her first and second album has remixes galore. :thud

Delirium-Zer0 18th November 2009 03:58 AM

My song list really does have every single one. Just count how many remixes there are of each song on that list and you have your answer.

Crystal_Ageha 18th November 2009 04:27 AM

Oh, sorry, I didn't know. I didn't look, because Pic made it sound like it was also an estimate list. ^^' (No, blames Picaflor, by the way. :D)

ownsarai 18th November 2009 07:49 AM

OK this is a question having to do with a certain remix...in kanariya ''NEUTRAL TRIGGER EDIT'' from ayu-mi-x II version Non-Stop Mega Mix, the first 2 sound clips, where are they from?

ayunation 25th November 2009 06:57 AM

i have more AUDIENCE remixes as in your list, why?

Delirium-Zer0 25th November 2009 07:46 AM

My guess is that you have what I considered to be duplicates - namely, versions worked into ayu-mi-x III NSMM and ayu trance 2. If a remix was included in a non-stop megamix, I ONLY included it in my list if it hadn't been released in any standalone form (i.e. Duty "elephant fish mix" counted as an addition to the list, but AUDIENCE "Calderone Club Mix" did not).

As for the whole kanariya thing, They're from Waratte Iitomo, december 15th 1999. She's saying "切ったら中が赤かったんですよ (When I cut it, it was red on the inside)" in the second one. She and Tamori are talking about pork. lol.... the first one is from right after they come back from commercial. I think she's saying "ayu iya da!" but I'm not sure. XD

ownsarai 25th November 2009 08:18 AM

^lol what a random thing to put into a remix.

Delirium-Zer0 25th November 2009 08:32 AM

LOL I know right? with all the "a" sounds & hard consonants, Hirokey probably just thought it was a cool-sounding phrase.

I'm really glad you asked about those clips though cuz I would have never found that interview otherwise, and it is ADORABLE.

It's unrelated to remix, but, in this episode,
She receives many flowers, and one from Cher...
I dont remember Cher japanese singer, so I was wondering..
Is it the American singer?!

lilmissgrusome 27th November 2009 07:35 PM

ive seen a few A SONG FOR XX remixes and evolution remixes ^^

Yeah, Cher's an older American singer (biggest in the 70s).

Delirium-Zer0 28th November 2009 06:31 AM

The only other possibility is that the flowers came from the japanese fashion company Cher, but considering all the other flowers are from celebrities & singers (and ayu says that they've all come from superstars), the american singer seems to fit better. Neither one seems all that likely, but hey, stranger things have happened!

Crystal_Ageha 28th November 2009 05:33 PM

^ Yeah, I know, right??? It's like, why the **** would Cher give Ayu flowers..? >___>
