That's all I can think of right now......

Any odd ones out there?

VRGRK 23rd December 2009 12:05 PM

I think i fell asleep listening to Dearest once.. hahah this is an intresting thread.

majrakun 23rd December 2009 12:36 PM

Currently, BALLAD is my lullaby. <3

Dearest Acoustic Orchestra version is such a soothing song, and I played it on repeat for days before I go to bed.

Others are like HANABI, HEAVEN, Days, Curtain Call.

Well nowadays I don't listen to much anything when I go to sleep because it's not good for my ears when I wear earphones so much during the daytime too... But when I did, I found the latter part of I am... great to drift-off to... From taskinlude or A Song is Born onwards. :heart

Midori-chan 23rd December 2009 12:54 PM

Mhm, I normally don't listen to music, when I plan to sleep, but sometimes I do. I can only fall asleep, if I listen to ballads or slow/sad/melancholic songs.
Any Ayu-Ballad will do, but mostly it's "Dearest", "POWDER SNOW", "Endless sorrow", "walking proud" "CAROLS" or/and "Days"!

Twins ANK 23rd December 2009 01:17 PM

only rainy day in missunderstood make me sleep very well ^_^

Zeke. 23rd December 2009 01:23 PM

I can't fall asleep to music XD

My mind never shuts off and it's always thinking about the song and singing along in my head... Even wordless music - my mind follows the melody. It's quite annoying. I have to have a fan running to drowned everything out. Lol.

ayuPanda 23rd December 2009 01:28 PM

Ballad
Dearest live from museum
momentum *-*
Moments
maybe more, but these are the only one I know X3333

daybreak123 23rd December 2009 01:37 PM

I love listening to music when I'm going to sleep. :D I always turn radio on or play a CD. Anyways, the first song that comes to my mind is You "northern breeze". That remix is just so pretty and relaxing. A Song is born is another good one too.

Picaflor 7/4 23rd December 2009 01:39 PM

voyage.
off the top of my head. Can't really fall asleep to anything else. Somtimes I'll listen to an album straight through and fall asleep while listening to it, but that's cause I am tired and zone out.

mobius 23rd December 2009 01:57 PM

Fairyland Instrumental or HEAVEN Instrumental is my sleeping song for me.

Lanz16 23rd December 2009 03:37 PM

BALLAD, Curtain call, LOVE ~Destiny~ and Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~ for me.
Curtain call is so calm :)

yazoo123 23rd December 2009 04:05 PM

Normally I randomly choose an Ayu album or a concert DVD, sometimes YUI's album, and play it starting from the beginning when i plan to sleep, on average, i would have been fallen into sleep after 2 or 3 songs. So it works. The tradeoff would be sometimes I've been waken up by the end of the album/DVD (the last one or 2nd last song played). It reminds me to turn off my player first and I would keep on chasing my dream again...so it still works...

alternarist 23rd December 2009 04:16 PM

i like this thread!! i usually listen to the latest songs and see if i can sing it and puts me to sleep. I jus need a regular rhythm in my mind to set my brain into hypnotism. LOL.

Kazeyomi 23rd December 2009 04:38 PM

It's the same for me. I only can asleep with ballad and not dynamic songs.

pommy48 23rd December 2009 10:12 PM

Ah I always listen to an Ayu song right before I fall asleep

But it's basically all of my favorite ballads that isn't too loud~ like rainy day, Dearest, JEWEL, etc. :luv2

MidnightGirl 24th December 2009 01:44 AM

end roll - beautiful and calm
kanariya - dance song but i can sleep with it
M - above and beyond remix - yes, i love to hear the dance songs but low

asmAyumi1992 24th December 2009 02:10 AM

momentum
Secret
GUILTY
Curtain Call
Hanabi

There are many of them. But I couldn't remember right now.

trinka 24th December 2009 06:59 AM

I think i'd listen to voyage, rainyday, and maybe hanabi?? It's a very creative idea.

Alias 24th December 2009 12:15 PM

Instrumentals can make me sleepy (and that's why I use them normally only as my "backtracks"/karaoke :D) , but I have never fallen asleep to music...

labello 24th December 2009 04:45 PM

When NEXT LEVEL was released, I always listened to Curtain Call before going to sleep... for like 4 months:laugh

The songs have to be really slow and not to loud otherwise I can't sleep:laugh My list would be something like this~
- Curtain Call
- Dearest
- fated
- Together when...
- Voyage
- RAINBOW

jean-baptiste 24th December 2009 04:48 PM

oregal versions always put me to bed quickly.

tokyoxjapanxfan 24th December 2009 04:51 PM

ayu-mi-x 4 acoustic orchestra -- the entire album xD

i looooove it when i'm sleeping :D

though sometimes i leave out i am..., even though it's beautiful, the sharp little "pings" towards the end/middle have woken me up before haha!

love in music 24th December 2009 06:00 PM

I just have a playlist with a lot of her ballads and fall asleep to those. "CAROLS" is always the one I listen to if I can't fall asleep, and it usually calms me down etc. The Dearest piano version is really good too.

MsAiUmE 29th December 2009 10:07 PM

Thank you for all the replies!

anyway, usually when is the music is a bit loud, I fall asleep even to songs like bold and delicious and real me, I dunno why but sometimes it makes me sleepy lol.

It's nice to see similarities in the songs that you listen to for sleeping!

gallowsCalibrator 7th January 2010 11:41 PM

I...have a "sleepy" playlist that I made recently XD

(they're not necessarily in this order...I have a terrible memory XD)
BALLAD
Days
You were...
RED LINE ~for TA~
M
teddy bear
A Song for XX
Talkin' 2 myself (okay, call me a freak, but I fell asleep listening to this song one time, and I had the most awesomest dream evah, so now I listen to it before I go to bed...yah I am a freak XD)
HEAVEN
rainy day

Yeah...I tried to listen to songs that put me in a good mood, but ballads ususally make me sad...But I never have depresign dreams...O.o Maybe I'm just a weirdo XD

emi♡ 8th January 2010 12:05 AM

Mine is basically all of the ballads from A Song for XX (only powder snow) to Secret (only JEWEL).

and then all the repeats on the best albums, with some from a ballads...

I only have studio album songs on the list now...But I'll probably add more later...

slavomiros 8th January 2010 12:36 AM

my mp3 player is broken so i don't listen any songs before going to sleep...i used to do it in the past, but not any more. All the ballads are perfect for a good sleep haha...ayu dreams to everyone ;-)

y_nathz 9th January 2010 11:55 AM
