Good pvs to bad songs?
 

Well when i try to see if a thread like this alrady exists, it gave me the "fatal error" thing. so I'm trying it.

We have a "songs with bad pvs" thread, but not the opposite!
Does ayu have any songs that you don't like that suprisingly have a really nice pv?
I'm sure this is difficult since how much you like a pv is heavily influenced by your love for the song, but I'm sure there are a few out there that haven't changed your opinion about the pv.

off the top of my head (and eneabba with its screencaps). I love the pvs for my name's WOMEN, RAINBOW, fairyland, is this LOVE?, walking proud, glitter, kanariya (sort of, i like the pv version of the song but i don't like the album version), and YOU. they all had pvs that i really liked, but the songs, not too fond of.

So what about you?

For me its...1 LOVE, Beautiful Fighters, YOU, and Voyage

The only one that comes to mind is Days

Jewel - the song bores me. Though the remix from Gold/Silver is good.

I had a hard time thinking of this then I remembered ourselves. I LOVE that PV but I can never get into the song.

Days - it's one of my least favorite Ayu songs :( but the PV for it is really cute though, one of the better PVs on NEXT LEVEL

BALLAD - I just can't get into this song.. so boring. but the PV is awesome

ANGEL'S SONG, this PV is amazing but it just can't bear the song XD
Momentum too, the song is kinda boring but I nearly cried the first time I saw its PV !

Bold & Delicious - I could just watch this PV with no sound.

kanariya - PV is nice but not to fond on the song

fated - I like the PV, but I don't like the song, and I couldn't get into it.

1 Love. I like the song but its not her greatest. The PV is fun to watch though. Definitely.

The only one I can think of right now is BALLAD, ah hah. :X It's one of my favourite Ayu PVs, but one of my least favourite songs. I tried so hard to get into it because of the PV, and because I love You were... so much, but it's just not working! >_<'

I'd also have to say BALLAD as of right now, the song is just kind of...there. I love the PV though.

For RAINBOW, I agree with you. I love that PV but I hate that song. The rest you mentioned, I either like the song or don't like the PV. xD

My name's WOMEN-At first, I just ignore this song as i thought that this song is common. But when I watched the pv, I became in love with the song!
RAINBOW-idk why.
Fated- I don't like it at first. But then, I love it.
Curtain Call- This song is a bit boring. But I love the pv very much.

Well I wonder why? I did say quite a few times throughout this forum that I didn't like walking proud but when I saw the pv which was just so damn beautiful and detailed, it made me like the song more. It doesn't mean I really like the song. It means I liked the song more than I did when I first heard it.

Like...giving the song a 3/10, then seeing the pv and giving it a 5/10 which on a test is a 50% and still failing.

Hmm... The first one that comes to my mind is Blue Bird. I've never really liked the song, but the PV is lovely! Ayu looks really beautiful and I love the beach with white sand etc.
Is This Love? also has an amazing PV, it's actually one of my favorites! I don't really like the song though, I find it kinda boring.
Part of Me's music video is also super beautiful, but I've got a bit tired of the song. I liked it at first, though, but I guess I've listened to it a bit too much.

I wouldn't say Alterna's bad, but I think the quality of the PV waaay outstrips that of the song. (The PV fits the song very well—or vice versa—however.) Whatever to some extent too, but the discrepancy between song and video isn't as pronounced.

i don't like glitter pv but i like the song. haha, to me it just didn't fit.

JEWEL is gorgeous and the song.. a tiny bit lackluster.
my name's Women -- hate hate hate this song. So dull. So stock. Great PV, though.
Real me -- Really cool concept but such a mess of a song ;~;
Pride -- I like dramatic divalicious weirdness as much as the next person, but my god I kind of hate this song.
glitter -- This song should die in a sparkling fire. The video itself is sweet, though.

Greatful days. Fun and good PV... but the song ugh @_@
