Hey, guys. This is kinda random, but I figured I'd put it out there.

Tetsuya Nomura (of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts) recently announced that they will be releasing a game that fans will have been highly anticipating and will get great reaction (in other words--I forgot exactly what he said, hah). The way he said it, it could only be of three different things: 1. a new FF game 2. a VII remake 3. a new Kingdom Hearts. Now, considering they already announced two new FFs and it's still too early for the VII remake, I'm thinking it'll be time for the new KH....... Ya think Hikki will do the theme again..? I mean, she did two already, so why not this one?

Also, don't quote me as saying there will be a new KH in the near future and that Hikki will definitely be singing the theme song...lol. I'm just making speculations based on process of elimination and such. ^^' And even if a new KH isn't what he meant, you KNOW they'll be making a new one soon enough, lol (...unfortunately >.>').

Even if this was a new KH, I don't think Hikki will do the theme song.
She said in an interview during TITO promotion that she wouldn't do songs anymore for Kingdom Hearts, unfortunately -_- (I love Hikari & Passion *_*)

Well...KH is huge promo....I'm guessing that they paid her for Hikari/Passion by promoting the songs in the CM's instead of in cash...BTW...I love Hikki but her dad pisses me off....uh....they don't pay...ok....isn't she making enough money already....and also, why the hell are YOU answering when its not even your interview 0________o Yeah. I still they there is a chance that Utada still may do the theme song for the third game. Things change and if they've even started production on the game yet, they probably won't need the theme song for a long while and that gives Hikki plenty of time to change her mind. I don't really bother with video games anymore, but it'd be sad to see the final KH game without Hikki singing the theme, especially since that was originally how I got into Hikki so many years ago.

And if she really ends up deciding to not make a new song, they always can still use Hikari/Simple and Clean and Passion/Sanctuary. (They just used the whole of Hikari in a new trailer for KH PSP game.) So if that happens maybe they can just use one or the other (or both) songs for the third game?

^ Yeah, I was going to say :). They used Hikari again for Birth by Sleep, so there's a chance they might recycle the songs again for the next game.

-Simple And Clean appears on the original game
-Sanctuary on KHII
-Simple And Clean appears again on Chain of Memories
-Sanctuary appears again on the DS game, 358/2 days
-Simple And Clean appears for a third time on Birthy by Sleep

hardcore. I will also be disappointed if she doesn't does the theme song for the last game :(

And about the tour setlist, when this starts, PLEASE, PLEASE POST THE TOUR TRACKLIST ON SPOILERS OR PREFERABLY ON THE TOUR THREAD.

If that is correct, then there is an official Rjd2 instrumental out there for devil inside. which means, we can make a really good vocal track, which means more opportunities for remixes and mashups. :D I'd buy if it I could but even if I did, I have no idea how to rip vinyl into mp3. ontop of that, its only 11 USD! its a knock off! but again, I don't really have a credit card or anything. D;

Anyways that vinyl is real. The one you have is the commerically available one. The one I posted is a sample/djs only/not for sale/promo sampler. Something with 1 or 2 tracks just to get an idea of what's coming your way when the real vinyl is released. I'm half tempted to spend 11 dollars to get the vinyl and rip the inst. myself. although I have no idea how.

I've got a question! Do you guys like the song Play Ball from the Deep River album? It's my absolute favorite from Hikki. I haven't listened to it very much recently but I'm starting to binge on it again!

Dirty Desire debuts at #46 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play Chart, a respectable position considering she's had no promo whatsoever. Come Back To Me debuted at #43 on the same chart almost two months after it was released and rose to #5. Dirty Desire can actually become a hit 0_o. It's not my favorite but atleast she's getting some attention now....a bit of promotion wouldnt hurt though and would probably secure her success...but I guess that's what the tour is for. @_@

^^ I don't think anybody said it was going to be the last one, did they..? Though, I wish it would be--KH has been a huge embarrassment to both FF and Hikki. -___- But that's a whole other story, lol...

Not fair. I love kingdom hearts. It's what got me into utada in the first place.
However when I go to the concert. I will silence forever anyone who requests that she sings simiple & clean. Yes it's an amazing song but it's getting old really fast.

And I love play ball. one of my favorite tracks off of deep river. but my fave off it is sakura drops. so visually stunning and the song is so beautiful it sounds like strawberry fields forever in some parts.

And what songs are on the exodus vinyl that we don't have? Lucky! I only have her automatic and fly me to the moon vinyls. :eviltongu

She is going to sing Simple And Clean, and I'm 100% sure of it. I would be extremely dissapointed if she didn't, being it that Hikari (an thus this one which is almost the same), it's her biggest masterpiece and she herself has said that it's her favorite song of hers.

It's the song that introduced me to her and to all this crap, so you silenting anyone who requests it would be really mean on your side. It doesn't gets old because it's the best song out there, and I say it seriously. I am really biased on this xDDDDD

Man, I have been soooooo sick of Simple & Clean/Hikari forever (I'm sorry, it's not even top twenty best Hikaru songs, to me >_<), and even more sick of Passion/Sanctuary (God, that has awful lyrics and flow, the English version x_X). And it seems that anybody I've ever talked to who knew Hikaru BEFORE those songs feels the same way about those songs.... But I understand how you guys feel. I think the main reason I like Automatic as much as I do is because it was the first song I heard from her, and one of the only ones I loved from her for a while (until Distance came out). I guess I'd be more tolerant of the KH themes if it was my first........and if I didn't hate that series, lol. :X

^Well that's not completely true...I love Automatic even though that song is like dirt old and I only started getting into her older stuff like last year...I guess its's just a matter of taste and what not...I HATED Sanctuary (well actually I still kinda do) and Passion when they first came out with KHII but after watching the Passion PV more and seeing her doing the live....and then listening to all the details in the song...Passion is one of my favorite songs...

About Kingdom Hearts... I was sure that the creator of the game (what's his name?) stated a few years ago in an interview that KH3 would be the final installment? Maybe I'm wrong-- but I am pretty sure of that.

About Simple and Clean... I love that song so much and I'll be really sad if she doesn't sing it. :P But I understand how KH makes it annoying for some people. But it's definitely one of my most favorites. It was the first song I heard this year too! :O

Simple and Clean was one of the reasons why the KH ending made me tear up >.>

I loved Simple and Clean the remix when I first heard it...then I heard the Japanese versions.

The English versions are awful. She totally ruined Passion with Sanctuary ew.

There is no doubt in my mind that she will sing those songs...I wanted to be optimistic and hope she'd sing them in Japanese...but fat chance that is.

@Deep River: that's how I feel about her older stuff too. And honestly, I love R&B and pop, but her R&B is not some of my favorite in Japan at all lol

She messed up with the lyrics on Sanctuary... I don't think the melody fits English very well... tho I like the rock bridge, and that's why I have it on my iTunes. The version of Passion that is featured on the KHII opening (with the rock bridge) is better than the original one imo. My heart's a battleground...

Apart from the sentimental value that I have for Simple And Clean, I must say it's just perfect, and I prefer it over Hikari (tho I also love it.) From the English lyrics, to the composition, the melody, the arrangement, her own voice singing it, all the emotion... everything, is 10 out of 10. I don't think she could have made it better on that song, and I'm convinced that she reached her peak on her musical artistry with that. Even the acoustic live version is awesome, and so are the orchestra versions found on Kingdom Hearts soundtrack (thanks Yoko Shimomura! That's another amazing artist.)

It's just a perfect melody if you ask me.

^I think it's interesting that you say (and I agree) that the lyrics of Sanctuary dont fit the music very well since she wrote Sanctuary before writing Passion. It does sound really off...I don't really have the same problem with Simple and Clean since she changed the melody in that one

It's so beautiful. The lyrics depict a sanctuary. angels in flight. music ties, fears and lies melt away. I actually got an A for submitting in the lyrics in my english class a few years ago. she saved my ass. >>

And the melody is almost exactly the same for both songs so I don't see what the problem is. I think it really shows off her vocal ability. Of course it doens't have the complex background vocals as passion does, but I think she makes up for it with her singing range in the main part.

That's called plagiarism. :grumpy Anyhow, I don't completely hate Sanctuary necessarily...it's still a very beautiful piece...just Passion resonates more with me I guess. I pretty much agree with this. I love both Simple and Clean and Hikari, but I think if I had to choose it would be Simple and Clean because that song is extremely special to me.

As for Passion v. Sanctuary, I do agree. The lyrics to Sanctuary seem strange to me and the lack of the beautiful background vocals from Passion, as well as the extremely weak vocals in the song, make it less awesome. It seemed really forced and Simple and Clean didn't have that problem at all.

I think that's kind of funny too that Sanctuary feels forced and Simple and Clean doesn't when Sanctuary/Passion was originally in English and S&C/Hikari was originally in Japanese.

OH! I forgot to mention... I love the ~after the battle~ version of Sanctuary much more than the original mix. It's right up there with Passion. So, if you're talking ~after the battle~ then I like Passion and Sanctuary equally as well. :)

I agree with some of you here, Sanctuary wasn't as good as Passion. It was a little awkward. I love Simple and Clean though :heart For her tour, I know she'll sing Passion and Simple & Clean, since she is in America of course.

Don't worry, that's just the high qualityness of the paper. Trust me, it's sign/signature-able. I suggest bringing a marker or something. I doubt she'll just happen to have one on hand. and even if she does, it's always good to be prepared.

Wasn't the NY Sephora event the only one where she signed stuff? Minus the pre-signed pictures all the events got, of course. I think the only reason NY got it was cause she had to walk through the crowd and people were shoving it in her face.

I don't think she'd turn any of us away by a long shot-- but I think the odds of bumping into her are slim to none-- she'll probably enter and exit the venue through the back and probably with high security. Just sayin'. She's no Bob Morris from The Hush Sound, she's not going to be milling around outside the venue after the concert-- especially now that she knows how crazy her American fans are compared to the Japanese. haha

Yeah, I'm a girl, so I carry a purse, so I figured I'd bring something just in case.

Just received this mail from See tickets, the company I ordered the tickets with, and thought you it could be interesting to share it :) It works much better for me this way cause I can collect them in the venue and not be worried about my tickets not arriving here to Spain in time :D

Initially, I invited one friend to come along to this concert with me and I purchased her ticket with mine. Then two other friends wanted to come but they weren't sure they'd be able to help me pay for hotel and gas to get to NYC (from Ohio.) They ordered tickets anyway incase they sold out (which they did.) haha

Well-- I had a fourth friend just absolutely dying to go so I pressured the two girls who ordered tickets that weren't sure if they could go to figure out. I was hoping one of them would end up not being able to so they could sell one of their tickets to this fourth friend of mine-- but they were both allowed.

So... I spent all night last night finding a reasonably priced ticket for the NYC show and my fourth friend just purchased it. Got it for $109.45. It's a bit steep compared to the original price-- but I don't think it's bad.

I'm going to this concert from eastern Ohio all the way to NYC with four friends! haha The experience just keeps getting better and better! I'm so excited.

It's a website called StubHub and it's owned by eBay. The fourth girl going with me bought her's earlier and she's already got it (it was a print at home.) Totally reliable.

They've got tickets for: LA, Seattle, San Fran, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston and NYC. They range from dirt cheap ~ to list price ~ to slightly overpriced, but if you still need tickets I think this is your best bet. :)

Utada was my first J-Pop artist. I've loved her for eight years (Ayu for only five) and so pretty much all of my friends have been exposed to constant J-Pop talk for that length of time. Since we were in the fourth grade-- and we're now juniors in high school, so yeah... haha Many of them now like Hikki and J-Pop just because they've been exposed so much. Literally, everyone at my school knows who Utada is or can at least associate that name with me. lmao

Where is it that you live at? I'm assuming not somewhere close to a date? :( I'd take you! lmao I'm going to rent a bus to take all these people with me. haha
