I am just curious as to see what are the first few Ayu songs you guys listened to for 2010- also, the new decade!
I am very sorry if I posted this in the wrong section or if there is an existing thread!
My Ayu songs to define the New Year/Deacde:

1. evolution (ushering in a new era!)
2. NEXT LEVEL (Hoping for a good decade)
3. Greatful days (Hoping for fun days!)
4. BLUE BIRD
5. Bold and Delicious (Heh heh. Just thought this would be a good song to start the year off with!).

My first New Year Ayu song was Rule~

my first song was evolution

YELL by ikimono-gakari was my first song of the new decade xDD But my first Ayu song of the decade will go to Bold & Delicious. Since it's an amazing song <3

My first Ayu song this year was HANABI.
I sang it for myself while watching the bursting fireworks at midnight because the melody was stuck in my head.. :D

I'm lost. what is kohaku? -_- I read that it's a singing contest during new years. is that not the same as countdown live? singing during new years? how does she do them both at the same time?

Yay! So some people do listen to B&D and evolution! And there were plenty of other songs that I wished I thought of listening too! Heh.
And I think I listened to Mirrocle World instead of BLUE BIRD, though I know I listened to both. I was just curious as to how people brought in the new year through Ayu's music!
I think MW defines the new "era" (new decade) part very well, which was why I listened to it.

Kouhaku Uta Gassen is the big music show on the NHK, it's the biggest music show of the year right?

She performs there first and then they zoom over to Yoyogi to start CDL.

Mirrorcle World :) The lyrics just worked so well for how I want to tackle this year, the things I've been really struggling with. Then it was Life, because I like listening to the two of them as a couple.

A SONG FOR XX (A BALLADS VER) was the song that came up at midnight..

Once I got back from the party, I wanted to listen to something calming and peaceful to fit the morning feeling and I picked up MY STORY Classical XD

According to my itunes, Sparkle was the last song I listened to of 2009. My first Ayu song of 2010 was In the Corner. :D

I think it was You Were... and then Rule. I watched the Kouhaku performance on the New year night.

I had a little marathon running around midnight (both A BEST 2s and ayu-mi-x 5 before that). just during midnight my name's WOMEN was playing and ourselves was the first song of the new decade.

Lol I had a "New Year Playlist" running from 11:50 until I went to bed around 5:00... XD I think it went like...
