Rainie Yang, 楊丞琳 will be releasing her first japanese single [Aimai] in Japan. [Aimai] is the japanese version of her debut chinese album main song [曖昧].

When i posted this thrad, i'm happy for her! she deserve this after working so hard, she's in the entertainment for so long, from her [4 in Love] days, till actoress and host, now she got the chance to be a singer again....and finally a chance to advance her career in Japan(she's a big fan of Namie Amuro, so she's super happy when her company gave her this chance. Like us, Rainie is a jpop fan~~~). YAY~
i already order this single last month~~~~ i'm actually in love with her latest drama [Hi! My Sweetheart] co-starring Show Lou, so i already download her latest album [Rainie & Love] yesterday, because of the theme songs in there, they sung a duet too. I've seen this video on "ultimate-rainie.com". She sings "Ai Mai" at a Japanese promo event. I don't know the original, but I found the Japanese version pretty.

ive been a rainie fan for a few years now, and ive been rooting for her to turn to jpop for the longest time!
so when i heard about this, i was suuuuuuuuuuuuper excited! ive had the single and her new album on pre-order for a couple of weeks already. :D |

I saw this. was quite excited. LOL despite the japanese..the style still has that CPop flavour. I guess the song's made that way. Nonetheless Ai mei is a beautiful song!

Last cd I got from her was Not Yet a Women which was descent. Want to DL her new album but, MU dosen't like me. So looking for MF. BTW, does anyone knows if Cyndi Wang new album any good?? |

^yup, i read the news of Vivian releasing a new single in Japan, i wa so excited for it. i love her Gundam SEED song...and her new song sounds cute! i heard the preview already...
i hope Rainie can do as well as her, but she needs a really good tie up though...or it's very difficult for chinese to suceed in Japan. The most sucessful person is...Teresa Teng, Vivian's not bad and Alan is getting more and more known |

^well, rainie is more mainstream compare to alan. Alan started out with those oriental types songs, which is very unique, while Rainie, on the other hand is most Cpop, but she have a very smooth and comfortable voice.

The new japanese single is amazing, but I don't know how to tag it, I mean, last.fm keeps changing the title into chinese @___@

ya, i consider it quite good.
alan have promotion in Japan for her debut, but Rainie didn't....in fact, she's in taiwan and China to promote [Rainie Love] the sales for the single basically came from her popularity from her drama show that were aired in Japan, which i heard that [Meteor Garden] and [Devil Beside You] are quite well receive in Japan. Even the obi mentioned [Meteor Garden], so i assume they are using her taiwan popularity as a marketing tool |
Sad... I thought Ai Mei would be the perfect song to debut in Japan.
