Gorillaz are a FANTASTIC band, and they are releasing their new album 'Plastic Beach', titled on their new base, Plastic Beach, on 8th March (a few days before my Bday :D)

Their MV's are pretty artistic and creative.

At the moment I'm pretty much addicted to Feel Good Inc.

I love Gorillaz! It took a few days, but Stylo has finally grown on me. Can't wait for Plastic Beach :D

wow, gorillaz doesn't have a thread yet? jeeze. Love these guys. First time I heard of them, I was in "Planet Hollywood" in NYC and they were playing their clint eastwood video, scared me to death cause I was so young lol. But their music is amazing. Been into them since the release of clint eastwood.

Gorillaz rock! They have such an awesome, fresh style. I had no idea about their album though, hope its as good as their first one (now THAT was one heck of an album!)

I am seriously in love with Stylo ♥

^don't we only have an instrumental demo so far of that? and everywhere I try to listen to it they're like "ok, this is a demo of either stylo, or some other song on the album". So i'm not even sure what the song sounds like anymore.

lol, I have a feeling that's why its called D-sides, and not A-sides.

It was released back on the 26th.

i liked their previous stuff a lot more :(((

Plastic Beach is a grower, definately. I've given it 3 straight plays all the way through, and it gets better each time.

There is nothing as pop as 19-2000 or DARE, but Superfast Jellyfish is :luv2

Demon Days was an amazing album, which I'm not sure that Plastic Beach tops. Don't get me wrong, it's a good album, but its required a lot more listens for me to really get into. Empire Ants is a gorgeous track, and Superfast Jellyfish is a lot of fun, but I'm not sure how the next few singles are going to work without any really strong radio tracks.

I'm listening to Plastic Beach almost constantly since Friday, and I must say that the album is amazing :yes Although, as many say, it's definately not as good as Demon Days... it lacks tracks like Feel Good or DARE which wowed the public. Superfast Jellyfish is close though. My fav tracks are Stylo, Some kind of Nature and Rhinestone Eyes.
I'm satisfied enough :) Definately going to grab cd+dvd edition on Friday :yes

this is a really boring album. I am forcing myself to sit through the whole thing. I'm on "Broken" right now and I'm like 5 seconds away from exiting out of wmp, yawning, and going to sleep. >> :/ so far i only like stylo, glitter freeze, and empire ants.

EDIT: after listening to the album through, i deleted every song from plastic beach off my computer except the three i mentioned above. lol I had this item saved on cdjapan too and was thinking about buying it. Glad i listen to album leaks first. or else i would have been stuck with it. D:

i like stylo and superfast jellyfish but to be honest thats all i have listened to:P

I advice to give it some time, the album is definately a grower (at least for me).
I'm hooked on Rinestone Eyes :D

I'm glad they finally released a new album I got so sick of listen to Demon Days and the first album.
