It would be better if she didn't intentionally try to botch every song lol. She really can copy those voices nicely though.

My friend, who doesn't like Asian music at all, said the same thing about her copying the voices well. I made her listen to Ayu singing Voyage and she said they sounded similar if not the same.

Haha yeah. Did you check out the other thread with that Japanese boy copying Ayu's voice. I think he does it better rofl...maybe for her current voice only though.

Why there are two different PV's are lost to me. NVM, one is from when she first released the single in 2000 and new PV for promotion of something I guess.

She's got a good voice, but she did a decent job imitating Ayu. Her voice is too deep and she only mimicked Ayu's crazy vibrato at the beginning XD

It's kind of sad that the only thing funny about her is that she's overweight. If she were thin not as many people would be laughing.

This programme is about imitation, so she has to try and mimic ayu as much as possible (dressing/hairstyle/nails/singing style). After every verse, the audience votes about how much they think she resembles ayu. If the score falls below 80, it's considered a failure, that's why she got drenched..

Not so much making fun of, more of imitation I guess.
