Different country Styled/themed covers
 

So the theme for the new album cover is Obviously British,
But it got me wondering, what other country style do you all think she would look good with, or she should try out.

I live in Holland, so the first thing trhat comes to my mind is Dutch, you know the famous windmills, tullips and our cheese ... i wonder if she could pull that off and not look tacky :P

Hm...maybe something from Spain? I think something with Spanish influence would look cool :D

something dutch would be so cool. . .i want african themed ayu lol like maybe arabic. . .or perhaps like some random traditional african culture. . .

appears is what i was thinkin. and then i remembered the thing on Americas next Top Model. its like "ayus black liek me OMG!!!" when i first saw appears cover lol

she should do the whole kumi thing. but maybe some different cultures. . .but i wanna see african ayu.she has to pick a tribe that has more clothing though. and lots of jewelry. they have so much gold.

well the single covers were shot in the waterfront outside of hong kong. Not sure if that counts as "chinese influenced" though.

that's all i can think of off the top of my head when it comes to covers. :/

I don't see the Chinese influence on glitter/fated cover or the influence in dearest, GUILTY....

She should have done something like that when she went to Paris for Mirrorcle World! Argh! If only we could turn back time and become her stylists or whatever. XD

S/S was in Bali. idk if her outfit resembled the style though.

There is no "normal version" of appears/loveppears cover... she is black on the single and she is white (no blonde japanese, but actually white) on the album...

for me, i prefer Italy, or Thailand..

Italy: the Pisa Tower or anything else, idk that much. LOL
Thailand: The Elephant, and the traditional buildings and houses... it's kinda look old-fashioned but it's very asian-ethnic :) hopefully it will fit Ayu's STYLe with a little twist.. :D

black face is generally regarded as pretty racist.

okay maybe normal was the wrong word when referring to the appearsw cover, it's just it doens't mater what other race she would've used, there are alway going to be offensive people toward something like that... i see it more as another expression of something.

It's really hard to think of things that she hasn't at least touched base on a little.... I guess something tribal, be it Native American or African? That would be neat.

About the blackface thing, it's not "racist" in most places, from what I've seen. The only place I know of that takes it so seriously is the U.S., though there may be some European countries that don't take kindly to the act..? Not sure.

one of my all time favorite koda kumi singles/single covers is DDD. it's inspired by british punk, so when I saw that ayumi was dong "rock and roll circus" and had a photoshoot/pvs done in england, i thought it would be the same....nope.....

if she did a truly british punk look, it would be cool.

I also immediately thought of INSPIRE for Spain theme and appears for African theme. She should do like Kuu did, make a cover to represent different countries/cultures, that would definitely be interesting.

Why people forget about ayu's own culture? I like how she modify kimono outfit, I think they are pretty cool. We need to see more ayu-mi-x4 or AT02's opening outfit

I would REALLY like to see ayu do a best-of compilation called "utahime", where fans vote on ayu's best songs based solely on the lyrics, and the covers would all be Ayu dressed as famous princesses from history like what people were talking about on page 2. That would be AMAZING to me.
