Thanks to hachiroku for being so helpful and organizing everything! Kudos to hachiroku and Misa-chan! They're angels! Please try to maintain this post if you are the first person to post the thread when the other reaches 500!

Regarding first press goods, basically -
A poster comes with a purchase of the CD+DVD / CD only, and there's a separate poster for AT09's DVD.
The photobook only comes with the CD+DVD and the CD+DVD in the box set.
There is a special access card with a serial number for a new song not in the album that can only be used by TeamAyu members in all copies of the album.
There are also various things like a lucky draw, but they're basically making this release as confusing as possible when it comes to first press goods.

Pop-star ayumi hamasaki (31) has announced that 12 self-penned lyric-sheets have been enclosed within 12 out of approximately 400,000 initial pressing copies of her new album [Rock’n’Roll Circus] (released on 14 April).
She has stated that this is a surprise from herself to the buyer. She got the idea of distributing presents, and she enclosed the lyric-cards in order to directly convey the world of music.
She used her favourite pen in order to write on A4 size paper.
With regard to the 12/400,000 probability of obtaining one of these rare items, hamasaki has said, “I put a lot of emotion into writing these, so I hope they will be treasured by whomever receives them.”
Moreover a new song not included on the album, unconfirmed as to whether or not it will be released, will be a free chaku-uta present to fan club members who purchase the album.

Both the album and concert DVD have different posters as additional first press goods. I believe the CD only has the type A poster along with CD+DVD, and type B is for the concert DVD. Spanning about 7 months in 2009, from April to October, with 35 shows in 12 cities around the country, produced by 300,000 staff, the much anticipated DVD for the Arena Tour Live is here! The entire show done on the very last day at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo has been recorded!
With songs from the [NEXT LEVEL] album, mixed with popular songs from the past and present, and 10 costume changes, an entertaining and colourful show never before seen.
All emcee sessions, bigscreen movies, and videos of special moments will be included (planned)!!

Some other facts to point out:
- photobook comes with the CD+DVD version's first press
- photobook is 36 pages
- photobook will ALSO come with the CD+DVD version in the limited box
- 10 new tracks and 14 total tracks are subject to change
- CD only has no first press at the moment, but we have yet to find out more.
- The amount of interludes is not known yet, but people still seem to be saying that there will be 4 with no reasoning other than what has been done for NEXT LEVEL and GUILTY... at the moment though, no one knows anything.
- Sexy little things will be on the album, it just has not been listed in the tracklist since the songs that have currently airing CMs (Microphone, Don't look back) are the only tracks that Japan knows of right now. We know of it from ViVi, but that's about it... there's no reason for it to be listed in the tracklist at the moment.

hell yes, this is how we roll. 7 previous threads talking about the new album each containing 500 posts = 3500 posts before the album has even been released. Woo~ we're on a roll!

I like the look of the box set. so dark looking, don't like the mug picture though. I wish it was simpler than that, like just "Rock n Roll Circus" with the red lines on it from the album, or something.

also, the mug (from what I can see) is gaudy and bulky looking, just a standard mug. Yes, Sexy Little Things I'm thinking my name's WOMEN meets 1LOVE. With just a very reminiscent hint of Ladies Night? Kind of showy maybe? But Ayu style. Sexy for sure.

This album has been stated to be very diverse but still have that "rock" flair.

I don't think the PVs are related in any way.
But I do think she said both Microphone and Sexy Little Things are "full of tricks". So I guess the thing they both have in common is that there are lots of effects? :yes

She appears in the same outfit in both PVs. (With the same backing band behind her in a similar fashion... remember the drummer? He's in both PVs.)

Sexy little things appears to come first and then Microphone is the 2nd part of the story, or something.

I'm really looking forward to the new PVs; new PVs are always loads of fun I think and I just can't wait to see them. Aahhh! All of this anticipation for the PV is driving me craaazzzyyyyy!!!

I'm so excited~~ I love the first time watching a new PV! It's like, you don't know what to expect, and you're surprise and everything!!

Yeah, and some PVs are just so incredible you can't help but sit there with your mouth kinda open, appreciating all the little things. Like in Marionette, my breath was completely taken away. With Together When... I was teary eyed but I was in awe of the beautiful setting and the clothing and the symbolism such as the girl doll being left alone and falling.

There are loads of PVs that are just so beautiful, and sometimes if you watch them after a long time you get the same feeling as the first time you saw them. I think a lot of her PVs are really incredible like that.

Since I watched the preview, I can't wait for the PVs to come out.

Based on this CM, I don't think I would have liked STEP you hahahaha. So glad the final product came out so much better.

When I had first heard it I had just thought something was missing in the arrangement of it. I'm really happy with the final product of STEP you though.

I actually wish that ayu/avex someday would release a compilation with the unreleased demos/unfinished tracks. =D

I like most of the CM versions that sound different like some alternative originals.
Of course I like the final versions more though.

Yeah. Especially original songs of those that we know that are apparently second. Like Key's original, or Memorial address, or the original unreleased poker face. Not to mention any of the CM versions. It'd be nice if the songs found on singles only sometime made it on a compilation; ever free (from vogue), LOVE~destiny~ and LOVE~since 1999~ (both from LOVE~destiny~ single), Two of Us (from Depend on You) and some others that aren't coming to mind. Some people have no interest in some of these songs but it'd be nice to know they can be found in places other than the really old stuff. Then again I guess it adds more to the appeal of the old stuff.
