So, full song was leaked today. What are your thoughts about it? :)

I say only that I chose first option. XD

i really like it! it kind of reminds me of inspire with the type of music :) i really like it though cant wait for the pv!!

To be honest I'm afraid to listen to it! I don't want to ruin the surprise just yet like I did BIG time with GUILTY. So I'm debating whether I should take a listen or not lol.

I love it! I was so hoping it'd just be laid back and easy listening, and it is! (it does have some creepiness though, but I like it) I also think it's a very different sound for her.

Its seriously great. Awesome mix of traditional sounds with a modern touch of drum machines + electronic sounds.

It's like a better vogue, with elements of criminal and a toned down INSPIRE melody..
I love it. A LOT. It's tied with Microphone... :luv2 CAN'T WAIT FOR THE PV. I'm expecting something exotic.

i love the hindi's style

unfortunately the song is too repetitive,& the verse to low & short for me
but i like the chorus
(it's reminds me of kalafina's song on her new album)

eww. I really dont like it. she tries to be different and try more cultural genre but it turned bad. Kuu could do it very well with Shake it and Candy but Ayu cant.

I love it! I wish they speed up the song a little bit, but for now, its very good. I'm intrested in seeing the tour performance, belly dance???

It does sound a little like "How deep is your love" from Dru Hill

Hmm.. I disagree and think Ayu pulled it off a lot better, it just sounds more original and meaningful to me with Don't look back. But those Koda songs are catchy.

Hmm, she CAN pull it off...she did it just fine with INSPIRE, which is a great song.
Don't look back is a really nice song. I did get an INSPIRE feel from it, which made me really enjoy it. I believe R'n'R C will be a superb album all the way through.

I respect the path she's taking with the song, doing something different, but I found it somehow boring and unimpressive... Well, maybe a HQ, the video or a live will make me change my mind

that song is not Ayu style... maybe it would be nice... but I don't realy love it in fact... sound like those indian stores music BUT the ifference is that in indian stores you can hear things even more interesting...

Like some people said, it is Vogue-ish and INSPIRE-ish. I dont like both songs and Im not a fan of Indian/Arabian music so I think I cant like this song either.

its not really dramatic.. they got the exotic feel very well!

its funny to me how everyone says its so boring and drone

i love it especially for that. its meaningful. i dont need overpowering show-off type vocals with catchy beats all the time. catchy interesting songs do not equal true music for me.

Don't look back took a beautiful cultural sound and made it into the beautiful meditative song which with the style goes hand in hand. its peaceful and the lyrics are beautiful. just what i need sometimes. ^___^ especially from ayu. but i see some people just have to have some spark and just pretty doesnt do it.

i think the song is wonderful. for me one of the best on the album. this is going with me while im on the beach at daytona.

Great song with an interesting arrangement and feel. I love the variety she continues to show in her songs.

I like it a lot! It sounds different and that's what I love about the songs! Microphone is awesome too but it sounds very similar to other Ayu's rock songs

I couldn't have said it better myself. I think some people are just more into the complex/epic arrangements, but ayu has so many of those types of songs, it's nice to have something that's just mid-tempo and a bit simple sometimes, you know? That's why I like NEXT LEVEL, Will, and In the corner so much.

I told AyuHamasaki01 today; "Wow, it's really Koda Kumi-ish.. Perhaps we could expect a SHAKE IT-like-video. Haha. No, that's so not-Ayu."

I love everything about this song. PV is so awesome as well. The smiling part is so random but so cute.

when i first heard the song, it was kind of boring and powerless haha, it was kind of lack of something, but after seeing the PV Preview, it started to attract me.. and i listen to the song for many times, it does grow on me, it really does repetitive, but i love the new arrangement that Ayu has tried this time.

I think Don't look back is a great addition to the album. It's not the strongest song (I'm a sucker for RED LINE ~for TA~ and Microphone at the moment) but it's not a filler either. It's got a really solid arrangement, and the lyrics are great. I really like it. I'm definitely excited for the PV though, the preview is killing me haha.

For me this song is pure gold, sure this song stands out from everything Ayu has done before, the PV is perfect too, I love the hairstyles, the make-up is beautiful, she looks amazing and the ourselves connection is nice.

I liked the opening, is similar with Vogue. But in my case, i LOVE Vogue. xP

This song is slowly becoming one of my favorites. I love the whole concept of the song, and the arrangement is lovely... I really love it, even more so than Microphone!

well the cultural things work well with koda's songs because they're all pretty much dance...

I don't really get that feeling from Ayu's at all...in fact, it's very different for me...not really pop...or dance, or rock, or any genre lol and not really anything similar to what kuu does.


Anyway, I like the song...it is, I mean, I was a little disappointed with the more monotone melody again, like we've been seeing so much...but I think she likes it for the drama. The song is weird too...it's dark...and kinda i dont know, just weird...

It isn't really the strongest song in terms of composition, but it has like, so much personality lol

Definitely agree 100%! The composition of the song seems to be lacking but this song doesn't rely on that. It's personality is what makes the song shine. Sometimes, at least in my opinion, it's what makes the song so much better.

Alot of comparisons to Vogue, which I believe has a superior melody and charm. But there is something haunting about DLC which captures you despite its monotonousness (is that even a word).

At first I thought that it was nice but nothing special but now I love it. I'm also happy there's no Arabian PV, I guess it's the biggest surprise of this album just because of that.

It's different, atmospheric, creepy, relaxing and has great lyrics.

Rock 'n' Roll Circus is really turning out to be the best album Ayu's come out with in a while, imo.

think ayu has totally lost it with this album.. namie floors her with Past>Future.. I think ayu needs something fresh and new but this def was not it.. too wacky

Namie and Ayumi's sounds are completly different, they're so hard to compare. Namie's music has huuuuge western influence, whereas Ayu's hardly has any. Or if she takes western influence, she makes it her own.

PS - need hq of don't look back. Its going to sound amazing in CD quality.

Namie may beat her in sales but quality wise... :no She can't even beat ayu's worst song with her best song. Her music is so empty.

I really like the song! It's mysterious and has a really catchy hook! I like how the arabic and electronic synths are fused together. Really nicely done.

Coupled with a seemingly dark concept hidden amidst a bright, white PV, I can't wait for it! I have to agree this album could probably be one of the better Ayu albums in some time.

people were expecting something "middle-easternish" because of the song, and I'm glad ayu did something completely different.





no matter what people say, the direction and editing of this pv is 10/10

if it was boring is something totally different, to me at least it wasn't.

EDIT: LOL at people comparing with namie's latest album. ayu is doing something a lot more experimental, i would say one of her most experimental works...

namie instead, with past<future took the easy road and went for a style that is very popular atm... so it was easy for her to get good sales and of course thanks to her popularity nowadays...

The PV is definitely AMAZING. Completely portrays the lyrics of the song which further emphasizes the beauty to the song's haunting melody.
