I think she has something planned for the blossom pv, or something else planned in general! Really looking forward to it.

NEW SINGLE 「MOON / blossom」 set for release 14 July!!

Aiming for the 50th single, the first in a series of 3 consecutive works!
This 48th single is a double A-side featuring the widely-acclaimed famous songs 「MOON」 and 「blossom」!!
Both tracks are the current hot topics and much-welcomed comeback works of the composer for debut song 「poker face」 and famous work 「A Song for ××」, Hoshino Yasuhiko!
「MOON」 has been released as a limited chaku-uta to fanclub members who purchased the album 『Rock'n'Roll Circus』, and the full version has also been sung during live performances. This is one song that everyone has been wanting to be made a single.
「blossom」 is part of the large-scale tie-up promotion with Zespri, with it being the CM song for the 「Gold Kiwi, Green Kiwi」 CM. A number with a catchy tune, characteristic of Mr.Hoshino, this song's melody remains with the listener and brings on a feeling of breeziness associated with the coming season.

I know, she's promoting the single on her tour but would be perfect if she promote singles also for who are not going to her concerts..

I don't know, but after all that I am hearing about with the promotion situation, apparently Ayu and Avex is playing on a "risky" strategy again... And, we still have to worry about this - there's still a possibility that Arashi's "To be free" single during its second week could actually outsell Ayu's single...

Yes, that's true!!!!! Her sales are dropping every year, and maybe she can sell less without a lot of promotion

I don't know what happened for "Daybreak" - what happened with that single that made it #2?

It was a recut single, right. They just used aremix. I don't remember

But moon/blossom is totally different

The thing with any ayu single as of late seems. Even if it is good. Better than many other being released.
Its just never gonna sell so much. As I don't think quality matters so much in sales now

Yeah, I can understand Ayu being busy and all but like you said the next best thing would be to have the actual PV by now. MOON is a very Japanese song but that doesn't matter much if it doesn't get any attention. Avex must really have a lot of (unrealistic) faith in the fans because less than 2 weeks away from the release and we're still pretty much the only ones who know about it. I have a lot of faith in Ayu maintaining the streak but this really isn't looking so good right now. :no

A live performance is one thing but a PV can really influence a person to buy a song. Plus, we've already got a live of MOON, the PV's really the only thing we're missing. Not to mention poor blossom which hasn't even leaked... :weep
