:thud This is a bit strange isen't it?

Yoake 7th April 2009 11:58 PM

I didn't know that ZARD release stuff again Oo

What do you mean by strange?

SunshineSlayer 7th April 2009 11:59 PM

Jesus, please stop milking her after her death.

rookies 7th April 2009 11:59 PM

I was quite surprised too when I found out she had a new single coming out next month.

The A-side song is featuring Mai Kuraki, so, hmm... that's quite interesting to see.

I miss ZARD / Izumi Sakai so much. T_T

^
Bcause she's dead and quite frnkly I find this a little morbid. More so if there'll be "TV" performances.:tired

Yoake 8th April 2009 12:13 AM

:yeek :teek :OMG :thud

How could she release a new single if she is really dead? Oo

When did she pass away?

Her company releases a lot of songs she recorded and meant or not meant to be released before she died so they are releasing them now to milk money as much as they can from her...
Unless if she asked that after her death they will do it for her I personally think it's horrible of them to do that.

~Inori~ 8th April 2009 12:39 AM

The female Japanese 2pac and Biggie? Maybe. I hope it sell well.

TITANIC 8th April 2009 12:46 AM

OMG, the name of ZARD still alive?

it's quite interesting thoug

AyuGAME 8th April 2009 02:25 AM

It's really horrible to do that!!! :grumpy

It's first time I hear something like that. I know music label who make best of, compilation and so on, after the death of a singer but not new release!

Zemus 8th April 2009 10:45 AM

I would understand this if the song was unreleased. This isn't the case because it's originally the third track from ZARD's second album release.

Yoake 8th April 2009 10:54 AM

So, she made a duet with Mai Kuraki before her death? I didn't know.

This new single would be a kind of homage?

What I don't understand it's why release old stuff in single while we can have them in old album? A compilation could be bring money but a single? I don't think

Zemus 8th April 2009 11:05 AM

No, this version with Mai Kuraki is "new". This so called duet surely happened after her death I think (?). What I meant was that the original version (non duet) of the song was part of the "Mou Sagasanai" album that released 1991/12/25. Mai Kuraki debuted in 1999.

CDJapan info:

Memorial single release from ZARD (Izumi Sakai) includes coupling song of her second single "Fushigi ne," "Sunao ni Ienakute." Featuring chorus by Mai Kuraki. Limited edition includes bonus DVD with digest dootage of the concerts. (subject to change). *Unless otherwise indicated, DVDs are region-2 encoded (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and carry no subtitles.

Yoake 8th April 2009 11:18 AM

Thanks to enlighten me Zemus. Now, I understand !

Foxxy_Fuyumi 8th April 2009 12:00 PM

I think this is becoming too much... =\

Aisha_Angel 8th April 2009 12:10 PM

^It really is. Her record company ought to be ashamed of themselves. I mean, I can understand the release of a few things, but this is RIDICULOUS! Izumi's been dead for nearly three years (right?). Regardless of how long she's been gone, it is inappropriate for them to continue monopolizing off of her death.

tomiko8 8th April 2009 06:11 PM

weird much the womans deceased let her be already..when i saw the topic i had to do a double take
