Ayu in Chinatown
 

I went to Chinatown (in Chicago) today and was browsing around this clothing shop and I went over to the very small DVD section and right there in front of my face was a bootleg Arena Tour 2006! I immediately grabbed it. I brought it to the woman running the shop and asked how much it was and she said ten but I'll give it to you for eight'. lol. Probably because she heard me squeal when I saw it. I played it and the quality isn't very good but it's okay. I'm so glad I went into that shop.

Then, I went into an anime shop and saw GUILTY, I Am, and My Story. They were ten dollars each but I already had downloaded My Story and GUILTY so I got I Am... (another bootleg--the avex logo wasn't even there). :luv2

i bought a couple of ayus remix cds in philly's chinatown but they werent bootleg ^^

I actually like bootlegged DVDs~ I have a bootlegged Stadium Tour 02 (that I got in Chinatown of course :laugh) and the quality is amazing and its Region-all... So it's actually way more practical than the real thing, and looks exactly like it except minus the avex logo :laugh

The way I see it, Bootlegs are great to own if you plan on wearing the thing out... like, I watch my Ayu DVDs waaaay too much and feel kinda bad cause some of the ones I payed like $50~$60 for aren't in great condition ^^; But if you pa $8 for it, then I think it alleviates your concious if you end up wearing it out due to overuse. :yes

in SF chinatown, i saw a bunch of ayu / j-pop stuff, probaby OS versions, but they dont seem bootleg (iono, they might be :shrug)

That's really cool. It's nice to know when you are aware of getting a bootleg, atleast. =_= ( is reminded of dumb experience..) so anyways, I think Neko★munication is onto something with the region-all thing... Maybe I should get one of her tours on bootleg ...

I'm not a fan of dvd concerts (Not for her, just because I want to see Ayu for real not through a DVD, but unfortunately I don't live in Japan T_T) so I can buy a bootleg without calling myself a 'bad Ayu-fan' XD
