Ayu to appear at a-nation '10
 

Just got an email from TA--

Ayu WILL be appearing at a-nation this year; she was one of the artists announced in the first round along with TRF, Every Little Thing, Do As Infinity, Koda Kumi, Ai Otsuka, Ami Suzuki, ICONIQ, AAA, and GIRL NEXT DOOR.

More artists to be announced later. But, dates are also out (note, Ayu is not guaranteed to appear at every date.)

8/7 (Sat): Ehime Prefectural Sports Complex
8/14 (Sat): Port Messe Nagoya
8/21 (Sat): Nagai Stadium (Osaka)
8/22 (Sun): Nagai Stadium (Osaka)
8/28 (Sat): Ajinomoto Stadium (Tokyo)
8/29 (Sun): Ajinomoto Stadium (Tokyo)

Hopefully they'll be adding more dates...six shows? That seems pretty sparse.

didn't she only do like that many or less last year? Six isn't unheard of for Ayu I think...

a-nation is where one of my favorite performances took place, can't wait :D

wow, it's almost that time of the year again. time flies by fast. :tipsy can't wait to see ayu at a-nation! i'm relieved to see GIRL NEXT DOOR as well, lol.

There were 8 a-nation dates last year...now that they're down to 6, they've cut the number of shows by 25%. :tired

It's not a guarantee that Ayu will perform on all these dates either, so keep that in mind, people!

Time will tell, I suppose. Even though I wish they'd release more dates, I don't think it's likely.

I just realized Tohoshinki wasn't mentioned in the first round announcement....I'm a little shocked. :thud

Sometimes they save people for later announcements.

Like Ayu didn't appear until the 4th/5th round last year, haha.

I'd be worried if Avex didn't put Ayu in a-nation (unless of course her schedule won't let her be part of a-nation)!

I'm aware of that.

I say I'm shocked because the number of die-hard Tohoshinki fans at a-nation is crazy insane, like, there's enough of them to invade a small country. I'm just surprised they didn't announce them in the first round to drive up the hype some more.

I remember that in 2008 she didn't get announced until the very last, or second-to-last round...and then she only ended up doing two dates.

They probably are aware that people expect to see them there.

I can definitely see avex holding them up until the 4th or 5th reveal just to make Toho fans wet their pants.

Or perhaps they are unsure if the group will still be together in August?
