Spoiler:

junshen 20th May 2017 01:14 AM

Last night ayu post details about her body condition.
Sad to hear of news that she's been suffering for long time.

Her left ears was totally deaf and affecting right ear.
She also went for surgery for her knee right after the CDL last year but ain't getting any better.

I really hope she's getting well.

Chris85 20th May 2017 01:46 AM

That's very sad. I wonder if they translate this message into English or skip like they did with all serious long diary entries.

English translation will be available soon.
I've only translated to Chinese version only for Taiwan fans

KuuXAyu-fan 20th May 2017 03:20 AM

I'm sorry but why on earth is she scheduling the first hall tour of her career with so many dates with an unhealed knee and the remaining hearing in her one ear left declining? I think I would legit cry if Ayu ended up going deaf in both ears soon. :(

gosh, that's fcked up and yet, she still has this long ass tour to follow. Ugh, she should've taken this year off to rest and take care of herself.

truehappiness 20th May 2017 03:55 AM

I am fairly certain that news deserves its own thread.

Bigtop 20th May 2017 04:23 AM

Wow, a big shocker. No longer a TA member but that recent post - as long as we have the OFFICIAL English translation - this needs to be a 'critical' post to read, even to non-TA.

This is NOT good. :no NOT GOOD!!! :headache

she wrote that she had problem with her kneecap for 6 years! and that first show in Yokohama Arena was like a return of true ayumi hamasaki for her. she says that she has nothing but stage and she continues to live because of stage and she'll keep performing until her body lets her....

upd. I don't want to be mean or something but she sounds exactly like Yoshiki who had problems with his neck and back for almost 20 years and had really serious surgery few days ago which became big news.

well, I want them both to be healthy!!

A problem in the kneecap for the past SIX years!? :shakehead Whow... I can't believe this... And not only that, her right ear hearing got worse - I thought that's her remaining ear that she's able to hear! :eek

Is Ayu overstressing or something? This is very concerning... :cry

She only realize her deafness condition 5 days before the first day of her tours.

Thatīs how it should look like <3

btw I still canīt see how she will squeeze 40 dates in December-Februray
I rly guess it will extend to a final chapter till April

truehappiness 20th May 2017 11:56 AM

It's probably going to be 9 -> 20 -> 21 -> 10 or something with the last 10 being the "limited edition" show like POWER of MUSIC or Rock'n'Roll Circus' 7days.

Earth_maiden 20th May 2017 04:03 PM

I wish she'd cancel a few shows and just rest.

Aderianu 20th May 2017 04:04 PM

at the end of May (so really soon) a-nation performers will be announced http://a-nation.net/

oh please, I'm going to Japan in march!

Deep snow 20th May 2017 07:42 PM

After reading her health update, I'm totally livid with the rest of this tour. I just want her well.

I just want her well.

Majutsu 20th May 2017 11:16 PM

No no no this is really distressing!!! I've been off the internet for the better part of the last week due to severe personal crises but coming back only to read this is really not helping at all. Poor Ayu, I knew she was struggling but I've just kept hoping that she will somehow pull through. At this point, though, I have to say that I agree with everyone who has expressed their desire that she rest. I love Ayu and will definitely always be a loyal fan but I want her to take care of herself! I have for years depended on her music to keep me going but I also keep in mind that she is just a person, albeit an amazingly energetic person with an insane devotion to her fans (watching almost any of her concert footage has me in tears lately, dunno what that's about but yeah). I think for most of her fanbase, it is more important that Ayu does not continue to push herself too hard. If she were to cancel any upcoming tour dates/ releases for a while, it would certainly be sucky for someone like myself who has a flat- out addiction to this artist's music, but if that means doing so will ensure a longer, more successful and happy career for Ayu, then it's worth it. Absolutely.

I was also unaware of Yoshiki's surgery until just now, thanks to whoever mentioned this earlier in the thread. Glad to know it went well, though like Ayu, it was definitely only a matter of time. These two literally bleed for their art and although that can be worrying to many of their fans, I find it also to be extremely admirable. So I'm hoping for the best for each of them, really.

Jesus, I just read the Jpopasia article and am actually in tears now. I cannot believe this is happening. I'm so sorry for Ayumi...

kotora 20th May 2017 11:25 PM

I feel bad for her health now.

I thought her voice was bad because of the lack of training. It is more reasonable to assume that her voice is getting affected by her health (ear's problem)

I don't want to see Sign Language Tour in the future.

Please ayu, health is more important than tours.

Violently Happy 21st May 2017 02:44 AM

I'm so sad about her health that I'm literally on the verge of tears! T^T thats probably the reason why she's been having issues with her voice lately. I hope I can make a trip to Japan to see her soon.
