Ayu hand at Premium CDL
 

Can someone tell me what happned to Ayu's right hand during PCDL/Rule time?

She fell from the stairs of her apartment and get wrist injury. She didn't wanted to cancel the CDL and then she performed in full pain anyway. :(

That was back in 2008. She was scheduled to appear in the Music Station Super Live, but she had to cancel it as a result.

Cannot believe though how she could perform in the Kouhaku, and eventually the CDL, with such an injury. That was a pretty scary moment though...

Didn't know this happened, poor ayu, such a hardworking girl

It was really scary! Watching the making of you can see she was in deep pain. :(

Being new back then in the forums and seeing this in the news section about Ayu's injury and still being able to perform shocked me (it was then when I got to know a bit more about Ayu herself and not through her work)

I also remember members cheering for Ayu that she's strong and that she can do it and was like "wah? Doesn't she need rest though?". Strange times back then lol
