Embed YouTube videos not able to view

I noticed that since Wed , whatever YouTube videos that're embed on here I can't see them anymore

It looks like this now at my end

Does anyone know why this problem has happened suddenly ?

EndOfTheWorld 12th August 2016 08:52 PM

I have also noticed that the embedded videos just show up blank and black.:(
I tried redoing some but the same result would happen. I don't know why they aren't working.:confused

Yoake 12th August 2016 10:23 PM

I don't have any problem. Are you sure your plugins are up to date?

oaristos 12th August 2016 10:32 PM

That's really odd, I don't have any problem either. I'm sorry I can't help you on that, but maybe you could check if your plugins are up to date like Yoake said? :yes

Do you know how can I check if my plugins installed in my computer are up to date , Aurore ? :confused

Also I forgot to say this but I have the same problem with my phone where I can't view the embed videos . Instead I only can see 'couldn't load plug in' in the square boxes

Uknow! 13th August 2016 09:54 AM

Which browser are you using?
If it's firefox you can use the quick check : https://www.mozilla.org/fr/plugincheck/

If it's chrome I don't know how to check them as I don't use it.

KarenPang 13th August 2016 03:51 PM

I'm using both Internet Explorer & Chrome respectively , Aurore :x

EndOfTheWorld 13th August 2016 04:57 PM

I'm using chrome as well. I read that chrome always has up to date flash plugins because it is built into the browser and is updated automatically.

Aderianu 15th August 2016 10:08 AM

chrome://plugins

I read somewhere that chrome going to stop flash support :think

Are you using an Android handphone or iPhone , Lina ?

I have this problem since forever as well -_-

Chibi-Chan 15th August 2016 06:45 PM

^I'm using Android. But somehow I just was able to watch an embeded video here. O.O Maybe because of the new android update?

Yoake 15th August 2016 08:49 PM

If it's the browser itself that doesn't allow you to watch the video, I suggest you to download firefox. They also have one for smartphone. I don't know if it works well as I don't own a smartphone. All I can say : I never got any problem with the computer version.

Chibi-Chan 15th August 2016 09:07 PM

^until today I wasn't able to watch the videos, although I'm using firefox and always was.

Yoake 16th August 2016 10:37 AM

^Do you have shockwave flash in your plugins?

Chibi-Chan 17th August 2016 03:49 PM

^yes, I checked this back then because I thought that might be the problem. But since Android Marshmallow it works anyway.

oaristos 17th August 2016 08:26 PM

Oddly, I just started having the same problem this afternoon... It was working just fine yesterday but all of a sudden I can't see embed videos anymore :no I'll try to check if my plugins are up to date later, but I tried using both Safari and Chrome and nothing changed.

koumori 17th August 2016 08:28 PM

I'm having this issue as well. (Google Chrome)
