Thank you!
Even if it's not much in general (and overall in sales) but it's great for foreign people since a lot (maybe even most?) order from CDJapan Japanese CDs/DVDs/releases so it's great to know the Rock'n'Roll Circus is the 3rd best selling release of 2010 in CDJapan :D

Glad for the singles and NL DVD as well!!

The CDL is missing but it's not surprising. xD
Love songs is probably for 2011 count already.
Jacket D of MOON/blossom is #110!

Nackar_91 8th December 2010 09:08 PM

It's hilarious that the no. 1 object is one that sold like, what 15k in total, whereas the no. 3 is one that sold 320k in total. Just goes to show you what the general taste of non-Japanese fans of Japanese music is XD

That's great to hear - but, uh...why in the world Versailles is in the top!? Well, here's just another scene where Japanese pop sales can get unexpected...

TITANIC 8th December 2010 11:44 PM

good to hear RnRC in #3. what about NEXT LEVEL last year?

lol, I do find that funny too! I guess that my tastes are more in tune with Japan because most of the high sellers really aren't my cup of tea but seem to be really popular with my friends :thud
I do wish they released exact numbers of the sales!!

Well I think the link on CDJ's site is all outta whack because when I click the link on Google (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/offers/char...9_jpop_cd.html) it shows RnRC as the no1! Not that I have any problems with Ayu being no1..... :lech
NEXT LEVEL got to no 3 as well, according to the Ayu's Story blog (http://ayusstory.blogspot.com/2009/1...-cd-sales.html)

Misa-chan 9th December 2010 08:56 AM

Some typical Visual Kei band that plays some weird gothic "metal" whilst dressing up like transvestites. I think that's the best definition.

bondingo 9th December 2010 03:22 PM

^ Hahaha, wow. I should have figured. I always forget the majority of Americans who like Japanese music like that crap.

rakeru 9th December 2010 04:12 PM

It's always good to see evidence of her popularity! I'm surprised about the singles though. Crossroad was the biggest seller overall but is in last place here. XD

lol. Versailles wouldn't know gothic even if they ran into Bauhaus. They wouldn't know gothic metal even if someone played old Tristania and Theatre of Tragedy albums.

Though I guess since they are from Japan you can replace Bauhaus with MADAME EDWARDA or G-SCHMITT.

Thanks for posting it's always nice to know how Ayu is sale wise.

4ever*ayu 10th December 2010 01:00 PM

ayu will be still around in music industry for the next 10years....at least !
