Is AHS going to die?

I remember reading about the "owner" of this website not being active, and so when the website expires and the owner isn't around to stop it, everything dies with it. I'm summarizing this with what I remember, which may not be accurate. So my question is, when is Ayumi Hamasaki Sekai going to die, and what can we do about it?

I realize it's gone down in popularity very much in past years, but this forum means a lot to me, since it's always been my source for Ayu news since 2009. I would be sad to see it go. :(

If I recall, April last year it did explode. A user here bought the domain or something though? Idk we'll wait for an official representative to comment lol

The domain was allowed to run out in 2014. An AHS member named 'Ayumi' retrieved the domain and restored the forum from a back-up; it meant that we had the forum back, albeit she did not have access to the administration panel which meant some issues still remained. (Such as the problems with changing avatar)

Nmskalmn accessed the panel and enabled avatars again a few months later. She's aware of the domain problem that Ayumi mentioned and seems confident it will not affect the website further. If it will, I'm sure she'll update us at a later date.

LOL 'Ayumi' saved AHS. And yeah that was quite a big guzz back then, still glad that AHS is still around until now!

I would spazz out, make a fool of myself and cry, thats what.

This is the only active English Ayu forum that I know of, we can't let it die, what would we all do?

jhacelkawaii0216 15th April 2019 01:48 PM

That will never happen! Maybe AHSforum will stay alive.

Sky High 12th May 2019 07:17 PM

I hope this will not happen soon.

Ayu without AHS would feel incomplete to me. Please do never let this forum vanish from the internet. It's our place of fandom, meltdowns and free downloads...

I love AHS! :heart

If I remmember correctly, the last time AHS shutdown in 2017 it was renewed for another 2 years. Now it is 2019. So it could shutdown later this year no?:nervous
