It's just a zodiac inspired daruma
"A Daruma doll (達磨 daruma) is a hollow, round, Japanese traditional doll modeled after Bodhidharma, the founder of the Zen tradition of Buddhism. These dolls, though typically red and depicting a bearded man (Bodhidharma), vary greatly in color and design depending on region and artist. Though considered a toy by some, Daruma has a design that is rich in symbolism and is regarded more as a talisman of good luck to the Japanese. Daruma dolls are seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck, making them a popular gift of encouragement. The doll has also been commercialized by many Buddhist temples to use alongside the setting of goals."

Totally. I recall them being popular from around 2000-2006 or so. Both Namie and Ayu seemed to wear them prominently during that time.

I really liked the style at that time. Love it so much.

Going to get a couple of Papiko Daruma Key Chains, maybe try to trade colors with people if I get two of the same. The Sports towel since I've bought one of those for each concert I've been to. Might also get the Minoyaki Bowl since it look nice... only worried it might break when traveling back home.

So glad to see the Rainbow Flag! Yay

The goods reminds me the start of 2000s so much.

I was thinking since it’s rainbow themed, it would be cool if they did sell light sticks in different colors randomly. Then the audience would be all colorful. I would like that.

L'Arc~en~Ciel gave 3-colored led bracelet with ticket. It was programmed to shine in different colors

EndOfTheWorld 22nd December 2019 09:12 AM

Wow. I love that.:luv2

IIRC Kumi did the same with the lightsticks during the DNA Tour :)

rainbow_smile 30th December 2019 02:05 PM

Kpop artists sell lightstick with bluetooth technology which allows the lightistick to change its colours, would be kinda cool if ayu did that, but the price would be pretty high lol

jiarongisme 30th December 2019 03:03 PM

^ Kuu did that with re(LIVE) and it definitely was more expensive than the standard light stick - 2500yen.

rainbow_smile 5th January 2020 03:00 PM

^ still cheaper than kpop lighsticks, the face value of those is $30+ haha
