That’s what I love about her, she’s always so grateful for everything her fans have done for her and loves and respects them dearly ❤️ She could’ve ignored the message like any other celebrity but she didn’t! A true ally

Totally get that, I understand it might’ve not been her intention but it’s something to be careful of and I think that might be why she ended up deleting it and made a separate post about it

I do think it deserved a little more delicacy in regards to the person the comment is talking about, but seeing how much Ayu cares for her fans is nice

Looks like they interviewed the affected fan (?) (not sure if that's her or some celebrity tbh sorry) if someone could make a quick translation would be really cool!

My japanese is near to non-existent, but I understood it was the affected fan (they cited she recorded that video coming back from a nightclub or something and praised Ayu for defending her).

They mention the whole incident. And the girl expressed her admiration for Ayumi and also said that she doesn’t know anyone who hates her (among LGBT I think she meant) which for her it represents how good of A human being she is. She also mentions that Ayu Sent her a private message through Instagram saying sorry that because of her uploading the story She had to face that hateful comment and she was so surprised that she reached her personally
To be honest If it wasn’t because the majority of Japanese TV shows are over the top like that I would have thought Everything was prepared in advance Lol

I'll always be surprised when I see people here surprised with that. She's a veteran, her songs will not be as big as they were before, but she's a relevant name in Japanese society and in the industry.

I feel like she’s to Japan what Mariah is to the US; even though Mimi’s recent music hasn’t been as popular (with the exception of the Big Energy remix which i’m very happy with the love it’s been getting) she’s a legend in the industry and her classics will be known and appreciated by generations to come
