Hello everyone! Well i got my Sinking Moon DVD today...
Here is what i thought.

The Film

If you have seen the Voyage PV, then that is basically the entire film. There are acople of scenes that werent shown on the PV, like at the end "Kamari" and "Soshu"[the present day couple *not the samurai and princess] (I believe those are the names used not sure about the spelling tho) go back to the forest and they see a vision of them as the samurai and princess riding on a horse.
The film itself was awesome! Thre was a lot of fighting, and some gore (i.e. a guy spitting up blood & and Ayu crying blood). I personaly think that there should have been more background music to make the scenes more intense. The director did a very good job directing and Ayu presented herself as a purdy good actress.
One thing i didnt really like about the film, was that some scenes really dragged on =[ But overall i liked it a lot.

The Making

To make this film was a lot harder than it looked. The Making of the film runs about 20 minutes (not definate my PS2 doesnt count time). I think that the director is a genius. For the scene where ayu is drifting away under the water while shes in the boat was my favorite making. They place a large glass tank above the boat and ayu and they filled it with water. It gave it the effect of ayu drowing and sinking int he water.
They have a lot of behind the scenes clips of ayu. She does a lot of Happy Dances too! =] and when she is walking out to the water on the shore, she almost trips and screams LOL!!

The DVD

Overall i love this DVD! its great and its AYU!!!! The price on YesAsia is not a good price to buy it for if youve already seent he PV and watnot. I would saya good price rang would be from $20 - $25... i'd rather save the extra money the upcoming tour releases. Another downside is that its totally in Japanese dialect... the only word i understood was.. "soulmate(s)" LOL =]
Other than that i believe this DVD is worth buying for a reasonable price. I give it an Super AAA++

=]

Thanks for the scans and info. I hope someone out there will rip the "making of" segment. I'm more interested in seeing that than the movie.

I'm glad it turned out so well. I thought the PV summed up the story pretty well, but I'm glad that the DVD has seemed to be a big success. I only wonder: if they are showing it in the theater, are they showing it by itself? Who wants to buy a ticket for a 40 min. movie?
