I don't get how some of you guys like the rapless version of Merry-go-round. Without VERBAL, the song sounds so empty. Y'all just gonna have to deal anyway cause VERBAL adds a lot to that song.

^ VERBAL's raps sound all the same in every song imo, not that good, and the second rap part was totally unnecessary, it sounds kind of misplaced in the song...

I will agree with you on the second rap sounding misplaced, but first rap is great. Adds flavor to the song.

I think if they were gonna do a second one, they should have altered what was being said a bit.

And I like how the second part is misplaced, that adds something to the song. Just like Missing have something similar. Without that, the song would be just a random song. Microphone also have something "strange" on the tempo.
It's not the first time a song have some part out of tempo :)

Yeah, and almost every time I would rather they didn't, it's distracting. Instead of fully enjoying the song, every time I listen I end up thinking "this part is so weird"... I feel the same with that weird break in the song continuity in Missing.

I also like the rap part :)

i think her 51st single is pretty good! its cover is considered one of the better ones in recent times and merry-go-round is so good! she's trying to make music that appeals to the mass market again!
