This will get it the exposure it deserves. And as I've stated probably hundreds of times, SONG OF THE YEAR. :heart

jbrat2219 7th January 2009 03:57 AM

It's alright.... Sounds too much like what you hear on the radio though...

pommy48 7th January 2009 03:57 AM

love in music 7th January 2009 03:59 AM

lame. boring.

ohsixthirty 7th January 2009 04:28 AM

i was really hoping for an upbeat song...

i guess this is ok, and i'm sure it will grow on me some, but its pretty repetetive honestly.

Yoo Bin 7th January 2009 05:27 AM

Yes I luv it! I just found it and I'm on my second listen. I can't listen to it too much. I wanna get a chance to hear it on the radio so I can feel the epicness of the song. lol

*sigh* The day I don't read comments like the one i just quoted....

Sounds like every other song on the hip-hop/r&b radio stations in the US :)

Lyrics included. "Come back to me baby, I admitted I cheated now I regret it!"

I've already heard this song a thousand times already in the US ;)

Kikaru 7th January 2009 06:23 AM

^IA

That said, I like it, even though it sound like something that Chris Brown or Beyonce would sing. However, since I like both of the artist, I don't really mind.

But I wonder since the song's less experimental than the stuff on Exodus, it might mean greater commercial success because American mainstream might like it better.

The day people stop making music like this is the day you won't read those comments :P

I hope the other tracks are better -_-;

NintendoHTF1242 7th January 2009 06:43 AM

I really do love this song. It's catchy and sung really well <3

AyUta 7th January 2009 06:44 AM

I love it! :heart Everything about it! :luv2 What a great way to start off the new year~! I agree it sounds a lot like other songs on the radio, but I have a feeling this song will get Hikki noticed. It's more mainstream. I am sooo going to request this song on all the radio stations possible :yes

stickyrice 7th January 2009 06:46 AM

I LOVE IT! I'm like...a sucker for this kind of stuff lol

I wanna let my friend listen to it but considering she's an emotional wreck right now - I think I'll hold it off XD

Whoa, that's quite a statement to be making a week into the new year! :laugh

It's a very standard sounding R&B ballad. It's nice, but there's nothing special about it. Although I am glad it's not all electronic sounding like practically every song on Exodus. The last track on that album, which featured a real acoustic guitar, was like a sudden breath of fresh air.

BUT I HATE how Hikki changes what she's all about in her US songs. It's like....so fake. Her Japanese songs have all these domestic, honest feelings about "turn off the TV and look only at me" (hikari) or "when I see my weak face in the mirror, I want to smash it" (keep tryin'). Then her US songs are full of all this superficial, overdone crap like "boy, you're so hot, let's turn this room into a melting pot" or the "I cheated" BS in this song. I know those subjects are popular in US music, but come on. It's not her at all.

emi♡ 7th January 2009 06:52 AM

hikki sure is damn smart :laugh

I don't really like it, because it's not really the style that I like...

and um, some of the lyrics are really cheesy...the one in a million isn't cool...

but I hope people here will like it, since it's a pretty standard ballad.

I wish it was a little more catchy though, don't we americans love catchy music ;)

I guess it's okay. It disappoints me a little, because I didn't want her to do this, but, i can't really blame her.

If you liked Green but not this song then I-I have to question your quote. :P

emi♡ 7th January 2009 06:59 AM

^a lot of people on this forum would LOVE GREEN and HATE this...

so...

that statement makes me laugh :)

the forum is crazy :laugh

Yoo Bin 7th January 2009 07:03 AM

^LOL. You may be right but then I have to question their R&B taste. :)

Cyria 7th January 2009 07:05 AM

It doesn't really leave any kind of impression on me. So I voted for "don't like it," since voice/melody/lyrics all lack that something that would catch my interest.

I really just don't understand how the two songs are comparable?
