Was the single white glove ayu wore in the In The Corner performace from AT09 a dedication to Michael Jackson?

I'm not sure when he died and when the concert was XD so I might be wrong lol

I strongly do believe so. The white sparkly glove is just universally associated with MJ.

I'm pretty sure the DVD footage is from October, four months afterwards. She did perform In The Corner almost identically at PCDL 08-09, but it's pretty obvious she was a fan all along as evidenced by her commentary for the "This Is It" movie, so it's not unreasonable to conclude that she planned the tribute before his death.

I never knew she commented on the This Is It movie.. what did she say?

The sparkly white glove was definitely added during the last dates, early costume pictures didn't have the white glove. So yeah, I believe it was a tribute to MJ.

And the glove she wore for the PCDL was there for another reason: i think that she got hurt few days before the concert, then she wore the skin-coloured glove to hide the bandage.

That's why she also wears a "single-finger-glove" later in Rule & Sparkle PVs :

^yeah i think her hand was healed by then.
but i remember when i watched the encore you could still see scars on her hand. so maybe not? :shrug

i meant that the glove she wore at PCDL was becasue of her hurt, but of course, it's healed by now, so the glitter glove of AT09 is clearly a tribute to MJ, I think.

I don't think it's too much of a stretch for it not to have been for both reasons during ITC @ PCDL.

She injured her hand; she was wearing the glove regardless, yes, but it still had the sparkles on it alongside the entire ensemble with the fedora and everything. The whole look and feel from the start was very MJ-esque.

It's likely that after he died she used the opportunity to play up the tribute further by wearing a more obviously sparkly white glove. Just my two cents.

Edit: I'm not saying she wore that glove during the entire span of PCDL specifically for MJ; of course it was for the sake of her hand, but I'm saying it was more along the lines that the glove also just happened to work out with the concept she had envisioned for that performance as well.

^ i don't think so... at PCDL this glove is clearly a way to hide her injuring. She wears the same glove all along the whole concert.
She decided to keep the glitter-glove for In the corner only, maybe because the style she has during this performance is the most Mj-esque.

Yes, I strongly believe that the glove for the last shows in October was for MJ. She'd seen the movie and was very affected by his death even though she didn't talk about it that much at the time when it happened (when was it, August?).

When I saw the last 2 shows (Oct 21-22) I noticed the white glove right away when she performed In The Corner. I knew she didn't have it from the pictures posted on AHS from the previous shows.

And my mother attended the concert with me, the last time, she saw the glove and the first thing she said was "For MJ!"
