Are you disappointed with the 2010 Arena Tour?

Am i disappointed with the 2010 Arena Tour? Well, I attended both concert at SAITAMA on the 10th and 11th, and don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed both of the concert very much, on my feet through out the whole show, singing tunes that I know and waving tremendously to get Ayu’s attention. However, I was waiting for the “wow” or the “sugoi” factor in the show, like the props at AT2008, the visual effect of AT2009 or the costume at AT2005, but there was not one, leaving me wanting more.

Just to satisfy my inner designer, I’ve proposed a few changes to the stage, adding some elaborate props and twitching the track list to suit the stage concept. Please click here for Arena Tour 2010 ~Alternative Version ~ for my take on the tour.

Okay, yeah, I am quite disappointed. The fact also that she's 31 years old just makes things worse for me.

I'd say something: it's quite interesting about the approximate configurations for the Arena Tour 2010. But as I saw, it's just not really an interest for me - it's kind of more London-themed, and I'm more interested into a more of a younger feel.

But any other comments here?

I think yours seems too over the top tbh. From the descriptions of the actual tour, I'm liking the way it is.

Wait, what's wrong with Ayu's age and how does that have to do with AT2010?

Dokiyo 10th May 2010 05:33 AM

Omg- I cant believe rainy day was taken out- T_T!!!!~ I so wanted to hear it live one more time

CHE.R.RY 10th May 2010 05:46 AM

Not at all! I enjoyed the whole thing from beginning to end! The set list, the vocals, the costumes...everything was done really well! :yes.

AyuGAME 10th May 2010 05:49 AM

^no...nothing change...what ed_win wrote is his imagination of what he want the tour to be..

although i must admit that some of ed_win idea is quiet interesting...
the subway theme, the telephone booth, the double decker bus!!! that's interesting...

gallowsCalibrator 10th May 2010 05:58 AM

visionfactory 10th May 2010 06:14 AM

OMG the 3D stage is BEAUTIFUL! thanks a lot for doing this!! I'm too lazy to read when people explain the stage on text :D

I’ve removed most of my post, and make it into a new thread at Ayu Fan Works and Graphic Art, titled Arena Tour 2010 ~Alternative Version ~ . My apologies for the confusion, people.

Yes, what a disappointment that Ayu is 31 years old. I mean, how dare she? :o

Personally I cannot judge because I didn't attend the tour. And I also think people who didn't go don't have the right to judge, because they didn't see the concert. If you went and were disappointed that sucks, though. But maybe you'll love next years tour, who knows.

What about her age? Seriously if you dislike her age so much no one will care if you just disappear from AHS.

Well another thing, You haven't been to the concert itself right? If I would take your criticism if you actually went to the show.

Honestly speaking, I thought AT 2010 was her best tour since Miss Understood. I saw AT 08 live as well and really I can't remember anything about that show - I even didn't think that the ship was that impressive. AT10 is much more memorable to me even though it didn't have any one big "moment." The whole thing came together much better than her other tours the last few years imo. I also think that compared to AT09, this one has a lot more "stuff" actually.

AngelSenshi 10th May 2010 03:59 PM

I'm not disappointed at all and i haven't even heard a lot of the show; I want to keep some things a secret :D But I won't be disappointed; I've seen the outfits, I've seen the setlist and those are already great with me. I wouldn't even mind if Ayu just performed the entire thing in jeans and a shirt, with a simple prop like an umbrella during say rainy day's performance.

I'm not disappointed; I'm confident I'd love this tour.

Humans age you know, it's part of that funny little thing we call "life" have you heard of it? I don't expect you to have, you haven't shown any other indication you have any sort of brain.

jbrat2219 11th May 2010 07:02 AM

You know even though Ayu had big props in AT08, I wasn't too impressed with them. I prefer AT06 and AT09. I know when I see AT10 (IN PERSON *-*) I'll enjoy it though. Just for the simple fact I'll be seeing Ayu for the first time :D

truehappiness 11th May 2010 07:04 AM

I'm probably gonna have my pants blown off by AT10 when I get it on DVD or Blu-ray, haha.
