this is ARASHI~
in 1999, they debuted aboard a cruise ship in Hawaii, and have been making a storm across japan ever since! they are currently in their 11th year of success. arashi belong to the agency, Johnny & Associates, and they are under the record label - J-Storm. they've gotten single of the year in 2008, and single/album/DVD of the year in 2009.

大野智 | Ohno Satoshi

♥ Ohno became the group's leader because of a Rock-Paper-Scissors game he did with Sakurai! He didn't even want to be the leader!
♥ A mama's boy! He says his mom still buys his clothes & that goes for his shoes too o_O!
♥ Known for his amazing artistic ability & he really LOVES fishing!
♥ Never fails to engage in neverending otherwise dead panned mannered verbal & physical fights against SMAP's leader Nakai Masahiro whenever the guys appear on the comedy show Utaban in which Nakai's the host alongside with comedian Ishibashi Takaaki
♥ Possibly the most quietest member in the group but if you give him a chance to talk , he will bound to say something amusing/funny to make everyone laugh in any good way possible

松本潤 | Matsumoto Jun (also known as MatsuJun :heart)

♥ Jun is an elite in Johnny's - meaning that he is one of the only 3 men in Johnny & Associates who didn't have to audition as the boss himself Johnny-san called him personally on his handphone to join the company!
♥ Unofficially in a way or 2 loyal fans of him coined the term "Jun-bait" no thanks to his good looks and acting roles!
♥ Although the youngest, he's the most serious about ARASHI's work!
♥ Became the 1st male artist to pose on the cover of the now defunct (in Japan only) Marie Claire magazine which took place 3 years ago in June (pun intended)
♥ In AHS , MatsuJun belongs to Beauty4123 / Lisa while Karen used to be his ex xD

二宮和也 | Ninomiya Kazunari (also known as Nino)

♥ Nino is the husband of Karen's french friend Nat xD
♥ Has made his Hollywood debut in Clint Eastwoods Letters from Iwo Jima!
♥ Loves to play jokes and pranks on other members!
♥ A self proclaimed Otaku!
♥ Together with Ohno , both of them form a duo called OhMiya which displayed a lot of *ahem* fanservice moments to the delight of fans!
♥ He especially has two mistresses from AHS, which are teddbear55 & ll moments ll !

櫻井翔 | Sakurai Sho

♥ Sho may seem to be the most manly in the group - but he's the biggest scaredy cat & he surprisingly screamed a lot more lesser than Aiba LOL LOL LOL during a special broadcast of Himitsu no Arashi-chan where they had to go in to investigate an inn that was 'haunted' ! & Sakurai can run REALLY fast . Faster than Aiba anytime of the day LOL
♥ Inspired many of his kouhai to attend college after getting into Keio University & in the process , graduated with a degree which he majored in Economics!
♥ Also hosts the popular news show NEWS ZERO!
♥ The designated rapper of the group who writes his own rap lyrics , this's also known as "Sakurap" . Because of him , this inspired his Junior , KAT-TUN's Tanaka Koki to do so too :heart
♥ He's known as the brother in law of KarenPang! (LOL LOL LOL 8D :laugh)

相葉雅紀 | Aiba Masaki

♥ Aiba loves animals (even though he's scared of birds & kangaroos :O) which lead him to work on Tensai! Shimura Dobutsuen where he often gets to work (hilariously) with wild animals!
♥ Joined Johnny & Associates only to meet his idol V6's Miyake Ken and play basketball with SMAP!
♥ Loves speaking English - even though he's not too great at it!

lol they began incorporating making of segments for their PVs officially from My Girl onwards , in the DVD contents I mean

they did had a making of segment for Step and Go too

they should receive an album , it's way long overdue . KAT-TUN & Hey ! Say ! JUMP are already lined up to release theirs next month & in July so I'm not surprised if they're going to do that sooner or later

i don't like the PV...

ARASHI GOT A LOT OF money from their sales, but the PV is so simple, and in my opinion it's kinda cheap...i wish, they spend more money on the PV just like exile...so the fans can see more...

and i don't like MONSTER...i don't know..the song is kinda weird, not dark, not happy, it's just weird...

that's my opinion

you don't necessarily need to spend so much $ on a PV where the song's already good

things might backfire . Troublemaker is a prime example . The PV's really expensive looking but to me the song's 1 of their most boring bland ones to date & let alone this year that I came across

YUP I know :D Is it something thats going to be official lke somethings thats going to be done from now on though cus everything didnt have a making of and I know its simple but i love the feel of that pv.

I didn't know Troublemaker was expensive!!!! wow I REALLY LOVED IT :heart

As for expensive pvs I love exile and all but the futatsu kuchibiru PV was :( . I really did not like it just my opinion though cus in other forums the people seemed to have loved it.

...wait, KAT-TUN is releasing a new album already?! :thud (i better run to their thread!)

anyway, i want arashi to release a new album too. :( maybe in august again? but if matsujun's new drama comes true, then i wish they would sing the theme song to that, and release it as a single, lol. then nino also is rumored for a fall drama, so then we'd get another new arashi song. and sora takaku still isn't released physically, so...i dunno. it can go either way, but a new album DEFINATELY needs to come by the end of this year. :yes

yeah, it's been a REALLY LONG TIME since we got an original Arashi album (Dream'A'live?!). i guess JE is just releasing singles because for sure they can get awesome sales from it. :P

YUP an album is long overdue I agree with that but since they already realesed 4 singles it better come out soon cus thats the average for many japanese artist hopefully something gets announced. I get the feeling that after monster gets realesed we WILL get a new album announcement. and hopefully sora takaku will be on it though it would of been better if relesed physically as a single. :)

though I say instead of putting the a-sides in they put all the b-sides instead XD XD

I'm guessing they're not too keen on releasing albums since they're doing so well and Johnny's are known for not selling AS WELL with albums as they do with albums. (I say AS WELL because it's not like the albums bomb...)

Then on the other hand, they might want to take another shot at no. 1 Single, DVD AND album. They've already secured the first two, so.... XD

Idw but i think arashi can pull a mega hit seller in albums too if they release one, but it is true singles do sell better than albums but arashi is like at the maximum peak of their popularity and career so I so think that an album WILL sell as well or better than a single.

Troublemakers first day sales were about the same...
My Girl sold 178,000 first day
And Ashita no Kioku/Crazy Moon also sold 230k or so

I LOVE the title and the opening post! :heart

I'm really in love with the "Monster"-PV, but I'm not going to watch it again until I get my LE copy. I also must resist NOT to watch the "Making of"!
I normally don't buy singles - except of Ayu - but this PV is just TOO great and Riida looks sooooo adorable...so I couldn't resist!

I hope, they're going to release a new album soon! It's about time, in my eyes! :yes

And it's sooooo GREAT, that the single is selling so well. But, I was kinda expecting it!
